Hey guys I am Roman Catholic and I can justify saying that I go to Church every week. What's your take on the Church? Do you have to go to be Christian Catholic or what?

Although I am not religious, I don't see a building as a church. A group of people gathered together worshiping the lord is what is a church. I believe that's actually stated somewhere, be it definition or in the bible somewhere. I don't remember where I saw that. So, going to a building called a 'Church' or not doesn't matter, in my mind, but gathering with people to worship the lord is what matters.

But going or not going doesn't make you this religion or that religion. I say it's more about just what you believe in.

Yea I can see where you're coming from but that capitalization was a mistake in the first sentence. Not in the second though.

You can be a christian without a church. I know this is cliche, but I've been raised to believe it's not about religion, which is a group effort, but it is moreso to be faith, the individual effort.
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

i have to agree with this, the bible states that "anywhere three or more of you, I am present" so i have to say, a church is a group of believers, and not a building, which is further proved by open-air masses, which are not held in buildings either.

Yes I know did not mean to say that the "Church" the first time. i completely agree that the "Church" is a group of people and I also agree that it is an individual effort in some respects but unity among the people can enhance one's faith
