if you started with earth, cheap A3 crusher

Hi.

This is my own unupgraded deck. More details are in the Wiki.

I just beat the A3 about 16 times. Lost once as a bit of an accident. I know it isn't signifcant but 16 is still quite a bit.

Deck

Mark of time.

13 stone pillars
6 graboids
4 reverse time
3 earth quakes
2 shriekers
2 Hematite golems
2 basilisk blood
1 titanium shield
1 weapon, whatever you prefer. You can just use the short sword, no one will want to steal that anyway.

It usually works best if you stay burrowed/unevolved for a bit. 50 % burrowed and 50 % in the field is also ok. That way a fire storm wont decimate you. If you get golems late it can be a bit unlucky. The AI targets them especially and thats why they are in the deck actually.

I thought this would be a nice variation if you don't have extra funding yet.

A standard shrieker rush is easier and probably faster. Not that your deck isn't good, but for AI3, shrieker rush is probably better.

I have tried both but I'm not sure I agree.

A creature rush has no defence. You only need 12 creatures for that, this has 10. Since AI3 plays a lot of creatures you can still lose. Remember this can cast earthquakes, reverse time AND basilisk blood on the tough opponents and that really disrupts the play.

I know it's not a miracle deck but it still beats the A3 almost every time and that is not bad if you started with earth and have no cards/money yet.

I gave the creature rush another go. Tried to use my best judgement. Sometimes when you bring the shriekers out early they die...But if you dont and the opponent has a shield, you also die.

Some luck or strategy can change the game...

I set out to play ten.

I won 9 times, lost 1. I know these are not serious statistics but I don't think a creature rush is any better. It is super vulnerable where as a few more cards allow you to plan the attack and wipe some early enemies.

Part of the "grinding AI3" philosophy is not just winning, but winning quickly. More games=more spins=more electrum.
That said, I think it's also good to have a deck that not only wins, but is fun to play.
So whatever works for you, is the right deck!

I still support shrieker rush. If you prefer higher chance of winning over faster winnings, then your version should be better
