Title: Grinding [AI3 - PvP 1 - Bronze] Un-Upped - No Rares (Also what do do AFTER)
Post by: Scars on November 17, 2013, 04:35:47 am
NOTE:(I wasn't sure where to place this topic so I put it under this) I thought this would be a good way to start off my career here on the Forums. Some of you may know me already as Scars208. I've seen many people ask for good decks for Arena and also how you get rares so fast, I always have to go make the deck and get the code, since I don't keep codes stored anywhere usually. So, I've decided to make a whole topic about the decks that you should use or try.
Anyways, I'll be starting with the few that I used when I began to play Elements.

:rainbow Normal Grabbow without Arsenic:

Next is my favorite Element - Fire.
:fire Mono-Fire basic Mono-Fire strategy to rush, destroy, 'n' kill.

Mono-Fire strategy to hold back a little with the Fire-bolts and rush them with Phoenixes and keeping off the things you can with a couple Rage-Potions. You can remove the Deflagrations for two more Potions if you want more CC, but I would stick with the two Deflagration, two Rage-Potion combo.

Now Death

Now, time for Duos. (I will edit in more mono decks in later updates probably)

:death :water Poison Rush - It works much much better with an Arsenic or two. You can remove the Shields later on for the Arsenics or right now with Plagues.

The only trio I would even consider good enough to add to this list of decks
:light :life :air FFQ - Firefly Queen deck. Good stall, and gives EMs (Elemental Masteries) a lot.

Now that you have finished grinding, what do you plan on doing? Skipping right to False Gods, playing arena, or just plainly playing for fun? Well, I will give you a choice for everything within this small guide of decks. Just choose a spoiler you think you like, or all of them I really don't care what you do, and have fun! Whenever you see a link, be sure to follow what it says. Most of the False God OTK decks were made by Chapuz. Have to give him some credit for building those awesome decks right? Anyways, good luck with the rest of your Elements career and I hope this helped in some way, shape, or form!

Decks that use those rares include:

Post by: Higurashi on November 17, 2013, 05:20:20 am
Grabbow might consider -1 Grabby, -1 Blessing, +2 Poison or -2 Blessing and +2 Poison.
Immorush needs a 6th Golem considering 6 Immos and 6 Photons. The rest of the deck is very inefficient with 6 Novas and little making use of it. Grabbix is superior in every way. Look to that if you want to improve it and consider Poisons for more damage and less quanta you can't use.
Monodark with Vamps and no CC/Nightfall is very weak. Garg version is slightly better, but maxing out on Devs, Dragons and packing 3-4 Steals and 4-5 Drains is very much superior for Bronze/PvP. You definitely need the CC there.
Psiontal is good; if you have Lobos, replace 2 Psions.
Monoaether should max out on Dragons, not Immortals, for better end-game damage and use of mid-game/end-game quanta. Adjust to 15 pillars/pends with 6 Dragons. Replace 2 Immortals with 2 Lobos if you have them.
Adrenascorps do 6 damage with Adren, Frogs do 12. If you want reliable offence in case Adrenafrogs runs into CC, Dragons are more reliable since Scorps die from tiny CC as well.
Shrieker rush is a mono by definition (doesn't pack Time cards). Would suggest -2 EA, +1 Short Sword, +1 Stone Pillar.
Adrenavamps pretty much always packs Cloaks to protect them from CC. Devourers only consume 2 quanta on Adren. Would suggest 0 Devourers, 5 Vamps, 5 Adren, 3 Cloaks. Dusk Mantle+Stiletto very powerful here. Not enough surplus :darkness for Drains, sadly.

Fixed the ones that needed fixing and removed a few, thank you Higu. =)

Don't forget the mono  :water. 24  :water pillars and 6 nymph tears. Amazingly hilarious.

Works because of binary growth, it's basically the bacteria deck

Just tested that Mono-Water deck on Half-Bloods, I won 6 out of 7. I think everyone should start out with this :P

Good news, I put the deck lists in separate spoilers, so it is much easier to read and understand!

Maybe I should add what to do aim for, like, I love the Firecell deck, and I think everyone should go straight for that if they want to move fast. Or plainly use the MonoEaters deck and PWN Half-Bloods.  ;)

Don't however try to dominate their path. Just give them options and reminders, not tell them that they must use this deck to survive.

Well, Yeah haha. I will try to guide them to the path of fun instead of serious, cause having fun is the point of games right? :P

This should go to an instructional guide for beginners because these are some top-quality & popular decks for winning at low levels.

You could request for it to be moved to the Tutorials section.

When I finish thinking of decks and all that I will make sure to speak to them about it. Talk to Higurashi? Right?

Did you try this one? It's a deck I experimented with.

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bt 5bt 5bt 5bt 5c1 5c1 5c1 5c1 5c1 5c1 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c5 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 8pp

It works considerably against Half-Bloods. If you want to keep it rareless, switch out the Staff for another Heal (or a Purify, as Faro suggested (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/deck-help/spiritual-dragons-(ai4)-(mono-life)).) :D

When you play the Spirits, continuously grow them until they become 13|13 monsters. Then grow them more :P
Only play the Heals if you feel that you really need to play them.
For everything else (pillars/pends, dragons, etc.) play them when you can.

If it works. Then you may as well have suggested it. Theres still time to awkwardly edit your post though.

I might add it in later after a bit of testing myself. If it works well for me, then should work for everyone else.
