One of the games this round is unlikely to be played because the two players don't have an overlapping schedule. Instead of giving both players losses or coinflipping the match, I'm going to use a system called Semi-Subs.
If a match is not going to be played, one of the players may hire a Semi-Sub that will play that match. Anyone that is not remaining in the event and not on the PvP Parasite List may be a Semi-Sub. The Player in the event must tell the Semi-Sub what decks to play each game. For example, in a Best 3 out of 5 match, the Player must PM the Semi-Sub a deck for all 5 games. The Semi-Sub is not allowed to change the decks that will be used and is only there to play the match. The Player is still in control of the deckbuilding and deck selection, which makes up almost all of the skill in Elements.
To hire a Semi-Sub, you can find someone in chat that wants to play your match. Make sure they are on when your opponent is able to play. It will also help to discuss the Semi-Sub and the schedule with your opponent. Remember to PM your Semi-Sub with the deck for every game they could potentially be playing, and make sure your Semi-Sub knows the rules of the event.
If a player wants to be a Semi-Sub, they should talk to someone that is not going to be able to finish their match or look for someone that is asking for a Semi-Sub.
Since this system has not been in place before, I won't be surprised if it is unclear. Feel free to ask questions if there is anything you are unsure of.
