Made this a few days ago, works really well in Silver, has given me a lot of EM and special spins even in Plat, works well in PvP too.

I initially made this on the spot to annoy a friend in fun pvp, some Quanta is wasted, :entropy Quanta mainly, but I wanted to keep it all about denial, that's also why there's no Vampire in there even though it would fit. As the lock down generally happens pretty soon, damage or healing aren't really a problem.

Hmmm, after trying this, I feel it is a bit heavy on earth quanta (b/c burrowing pests make them deal 2x after SoP is over)

I use the :earth quanta for EQ only and usually don't burry Pests, if needed, you can still burry 4.

I can attest to the fact that this deck is a pain in the ass to play against... thus my naming it "Buttholebow"...

Thanks my brother for making a deck just for me...  ::)

+SoFo? Sort of helps with denial by helping EQ when the actually SMART opponent plays pillars only one at a time. Black holes too for added main denial.

Just for reference: Lockdownbow by myself
I like your deck. Good.

Suggestion: For PvP ver, you can deckout win so you can remove 2 SoPs and add other cards like Explosion, RT or something.

I thought of SoFo too, Quanta income would certainly allow it, but didn't use it because I didn't want to make it bigger than 31 cards and didn't know what to remove without weakening the immediate Denial factor, as to the smart opponent who plays one pillar at a time, there's also Discord, Pest and BH, so when the draw is good, it doesn't make a big difference, even vs Plat decks with double or triple mark.

Thank you, your decks look nice too.

Not sure about an SoP-less deck-out version for pvp, though, I don't think the deck's big enough for a stall and I also think making it bigger would weaken it, as it really needs early Quanta denial to work.

That's also the main weakness, it's heavily SN dependant and the draw can sometimes be a bit bad, but altogether, it works well at all levels and with a good starting hand, the opponent generally never gets to play a card with Quanta cost.

Why Siphon Life?
If you swap and 1 Siphon Life for e.g. a Vampire I see more use in that. Especially you could then use a mitosis on it and now imagine an army of Vampires with SoP :D
Another variation would be Vamp Dagger but PC is not uncommon on the enemy's side...

Anyway, if you want PC I'd recommend a BE, works nice on Pests :)
Are 5 SN good enough for draw chance? Otherwise maybe change a Disc for SN?

Spoiler for My Denial:
I once made a similar deck, maybe it inspires you?

Why Siphon Life?

I agree with this one . This certainly feels like the weakest card out of the 31 chosen . If you are looking for life than Vamp as suggested may be a better option . A 1-of as CC isn't reliable enough in that spot to do the job is it ?

I know Vampires would fit in there but I decided against it because
a) they don't attack under SoP anyway
b) damage really never was a problem
c) healing is rarely a real problem either because you mostly lock down soon and the opponent doesn't get to play anything - or you lose.
d) I don't want to remove that pesky Drain Life.

As to replacing a Discord with a SN, everyone is free to do as he wants of course, it's a personal quirk of mine to always use 4 because I really want to draw them early.

I know that, initially the Drain Life wasn't in there, but I just slipped it in as 31st card because I found myself with quite some excess Darkness Quanta and I didn't want to use Vampires, it sometimes helps to finish the match sooner, and in case the opponent brings out a creature before lock down, it can be CC'd once enough Quanta has been built up.
