I have just tested this a bit:

I decided this pilar build because of 2 facts:
1.) Don't need the 6 SN to finish the combo.
2.) Noticed that SN and a pair of towers are enough to fuel the Hourglasses.
First game against destiny: I had a trebuchet as my last card, so I placed the 3 dolls when had 1 card left and fired 2 of them. The next turn, when I had 0 cards left, i would have fired the last doll if Destiny didn't mutate it into a congealed delayed 3 HP photon e_e
First game against Seism. The same thing happened, just with a Reverse time instead of mutation. Late game earthquakes were a miracle to me, it let me be happy before the game ending.
Won against neptune, regular combo.
Won against Ferox, regular combo.
Lost against Eternal Phoenix, Jezebel and Rainbow because of their PC on tebruchets and sundials after taking out my hourglasses.
Won against Jezebel. Luckly, only stole hourglasses and quite late.
*Lost a couple of games because of bad draws.
Conclution: Works good against non PC FGs, works sometimes against PC FGs, depending on how clogged your hand is, works against mutation/RT FGs if you don't get a last-card Catapult.
