FG Mutation Deck https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=57598.msg1179642#msg1179642
« on: February 18, 2015, 02:22:26 am »
I have spent hours surfing the web trying to make a rainbow mutation deck TRYING to find one and I finally got annoyed with it, so I made a deck. I haven't had any luck with it but apparently one of my friends used it and he LOVES it. He has had 6/6 wins in PvP 2 with it and although we don't know the FG win rate we know that it is a fun deck and that it will own in pvp 2 for the time being.

This is the final deck on what I came up with. I will most likely not be keeping up with this forum but if you want to update the deck in the comments go ahead. I don't know if this deck has ever been made but in the hours of me looking for it I haven't found it. If anyone wants to test this in FG and tell the Winrate for the best false gods in the comments please do it. I hope this deck makes an improvement in your life and that you like this deck. Special thanks to S2xaT5No for testing this deck in PvP 2 and giving me the courage to post this on here. But have fun with the deck guys!

This might help;
one of the answers also contains a link to one of the oldest FG-grinders (however sundials used to be twice as powerful back then), which is similiar to this, too.

You can really feel the lack of creatures to mutate/devour, since the only way for you to generate creatures is the Graveyard, which requires something to die, which you can't do because there's nothing to devour, there's nothing to devour because the only way to generate creatures is the Graveyard, which requires something to die, which you can't do because.. it goes on and on and on.

I would recommend adding in an Elite Queen and changing the Graveyards into Boneyards. The extra damage from Elite Skeletons will be minimal, since you will most likely be devouring/mutating them immediately after they appear. Also, Boneyards releases some of the strain on :death quanta, since at the moment, you're using 20 :death quanta.

And considering that you have those six extra draws from the Sundials, you could afford to potentially make this a bigger deck (ie. maybe adding in another copy of the crucial cards like Otyugh and Druid). But, that's my opinion on it, you can do whatever you want with this deck! :D

I didn't think about it that way... Could you post the idea of the deck that you had in or tell what to add or take away? I could modify this if you did... Thanks for the feedback on my first deck guys!

Again, it's your deck, modify it how you want it to be, not how I want it to be! But, here's my idea on how it could be:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
52n 52n 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6u6 6u6 71b 71b 74b 74b 7am 7am 7do 7do 7n3 7n3 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q8 7q9 7q9 7q9 7q9 7q9 7q9 7t9 7t9 80b 8ps

I made it a bit bigger and added in three EH, which really speeds up the deck. I also added in some more QT, because there seemed to be a lack of quanta (I'm not entirely sure about the QI and stuff, but I think this is about right).

I obviously made it so that the three essential cards in this version (Queen, Druid, Otyugh) all have two copies, as of that makes them easier to find and less susceptible to CC.

I've tested this deck, and it has great results against Half-Bloods. I didn't record the results, but I believe that I had around a 5:1 win ratio, with around a 3:4 ratio for EMs.

It makes a surprisingly large amount of EMs, which is always nice. :D

This looks very similar to an old FG-Killer made by ScaredGirl:

Unupped graveyards are used because they are cheaper, and the good mutants come from the Druids. There were so many variations

You guys keep pointing out that I should change the Graveyards... They are fine as they are because eternity can be used to generate random elite creatures because the skellies are upped. Although you may not think of it this way and you just use the druid the eternity can be used as mutation also, and you gotta keep that in mind. That is the whole reason you pay 2 more  :death for the upped cards.

We do know this way is possible. ;) However, mutants are much better and require less quanta. Eternity is there mostly if your Druids got killed or to prevent deck-out (in most cases, I wanted to keep Pulvy as long as possible if I got that before Eternity); and upped creatures aren't that better to risk getting any Skeletons later. (Don't forget earlier Skele's help your Bonds, too.) An early Bone Wall is needed to ensure surviving, and then there won't be much :death left.

But in the end, it's up to you.

The main reason the Eternity is there is to prevent losing from deck-out, not to RT Skellies. Also, mutants are far superior to normal creatures since they have better stats and most always have a very useful ability in defeating FGs (ie. Steal and Destroy are two mutant-exclusive abilities that are much better than most other normal abilities).
