This is is wierd.  And fun.  But mostly wierd.  It's not a rush (too low on quanta), but it's not really a control deck either.  Balancing resources is hard with only Cremations for :fire quanta and only the mark for :water quanta, but it can do a lot with a little.

In PVP, people just don't seem to know how to play against it.  It looks like a :life Spectre rush that's not working quite right -- then suddenly you Cremate a Cockatrice, Detonate their shield, Firestorm their creatures, drop a Firemaster, a Vampire Dagger, and a Ulitharid to go along with your Spectre and other Cockatrices.

And then they're like "whaaaa?", and generally fail to recover. :)

Also, this looks like a charge deck. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,8731.msg109832#msg109832) Fun, though it could be embarassing if it doesn't work right...

After a few dozen games, I can say with confidence that replacing the Steam Machine with something better (probably another Emerald Tower or maybe a Pendulum) is a good idea.

Yeah, Steam Machine only works great in a stall.

Bah, the other words in that sentence were important. In a stall, the Steam Machine isn't bad - the best part is the initial survivability.

Hmm, speaking of which, I need to tweak said Water stall. It's such a poor, lonely card...

So it's a deck that uses confusion for the win, by using it's initial appearance as a shroud hiding what it really is? ...I like the idea... interesting...
Rule #1: The Captain is never wrong.  Rule #2: If the Captain is wrong, refer to Rule #1.
