Yeah that was mentioned earlier in this thread. I dont really know how best to beat him with the deck as is though other than attempting to get an immortal oty, bone wall, and lots of SoGs fairly early to counteract his unstable gasses (or a pulverizer, however it can be destroyed easily so cant be counted on). In my version I have a jade shield which if I can get it makes him quite easy. I also have 2 PAs so if I do get a pulv I just PA it and take out any gasses until I do get a jade shield.

I had the original post favorited and used the detailed list of controls in the FG Breakdown section as a reference.  But it hasn't been updated in awhile, so here's an update, mainly just so I can re-favorite.  It may still be imperfect.

I've also noted which FGs use PU so I know where to excercise caution when using my druid.

FG Breakdown:

Chaos Lord: Some steals, congeals, discords, and improved mutations
Dark Matter: Black Holes, Gravity Pull, Otyughs
Decay: Siphon Life, Steal, Lobotomizer, Pests (quanta)
Destiny: Rewinds/Eternity
Divine Glory: Lots of explosions
Dream Catcher: Butterfly Effect, Discord, .... Let's just say lots :)
Elidnis: Congeal, Ulitharid (has PU)
Eternal Phoenix: Explosions, Fire Lances, Fire Storm, Lightning
Ferox: None
Firefly Queen: Fire Lances, Eagle Eyes
Gemini: Electrocutor (only two, has PU)
Graviton: Gravity Pull, Explosions, Otyughs, Rain of Fire (only two)
Hermes: Explosions, Fire Lances, Fire Storms
Incarnate: Bloodsuckers, Retrovirii
Miracle: None
Morte: Retrovirii, Plagues
Neptune: Congeal, Shockwave, Octopi, Eagle Eye
Obliterator: Gravity Pull and Pulverizor
Octane: Unstable Gas, Eagle Eye, Explosion, Fire Bolt
Osiris: Eternity, Scarabs.....
Paradox: None (has PU)
Rainbow: Congeal, Gravity Pull, Lightning, Eagle Eye, Explosions, Steals
Scorpio: Congeal, Ulitharid, Arctic Octopi, Ice Bolt
Seism: Rewind, Quicksand

First off, i want to say great deck.  I started running it as soon as i could (still a few cards left i have to upgrade) and practiced methods in AI5 until i stood a chance against FG's.

I've tried to read most of this thread, but i couldn't get through it all, so if i repeat anything i apoligize now.

Some things i've noticed/questions i have.

You (PuppyChow) said that you use permafrost shield to stall until you can get a bonewall up that you can maintain for the rest of the game....i've found myself doing this when possible but since you want the permafrost early and the bone wall later wouldn't it be better to have 2 permafrosts, and one bone wall?  or even 1 and 1 to free up a slot for something like a pa?

The steal in this deck is a disscussion point for an inner monolgue i have.  If i get my pulvy out early, there's nothing that i'd steal that i'd rather just destroy or let them have, however, it's great when they pop out a boneyard, or even a mid game time pillar.  I've debated several times (with myself) one what i'd prefer to have in place of that steal...and honestly the only cards i can think of are another quantum, or time pillar.  And the steal just seems more versitle.

I think two quints is fine for this deck, if i already have an immortal oty and a boneyard out against a fg without any permenant controll, then my druid gets the second one.  Any other time i'll immortalize my queen with the second one and hope that the ff's draw out most of the creature controll before i drop my druid.  Three would allow for a better chance of drawing one early, but this deck has enough stall to get past it.  Honestly you only need three quints if you don't want to think on a regular bases.

The eternity has saved me several times as i usually need it for a turn or two...however the first few games i played where i needed it were kinda funny....(the first time i had it in my opening hand and held it for endgame when i'd need it, however i forgot that it needs a turn to be able to use its ability and dropped it on the turn i drew my last card.  the next time the eternity was the last card drawn.)

I'm sure there's more, but my head started disscussing the steal issue again, so i'll have to get back to you later.

Regarding the 2 permafrost 1 bonewall, that certainly is an option. But a lot of the time you can get by with just the bone wall and never even need the permafrost, depending on how fast you get the oty/quinted oty out. I also like being able to pay one bonewall before I'm really set up but have an oty out, even if the FG has lots of creatures. It let's you stall for a few turns to get true control of the field when you can play the bone wall that will last. Then again, a permafrost could do the same thing. But they cost a lot more and having two permafrost in your hand is useless while two bone walls could still help.

But yes, it is a good alternative.

I just run 1 perma 1 bonewall and dont feel like theres a shortage of shields. 2 permas would be nice (i find it more useful than bonewall most of the time) but i dont think its necesary. maybe adding a jade shield would be better? or something

Jade shields are awesome. I have 1 in my variation and love it.

yeah i guess if i ever go back to false gods (pvp 2 now) i'll add a jade shield. cuz it'll make it a bit short on :life but thats only really needed late-game anyways. and it'll help against octane and gods with perm control, though permafrost is better in most situations

It was mentioned in the Octane thread that FFQ+quint+bone wall can often stall him very effectively, and that it's often better to use your first quint on the queen anyway, since oty isn't very usefull until after RoFs/gasses. This is the strategy I used for my first Octane kill.

I've been working to get this deck for a long time, but I don't think I've been doing it efficiently.  I've been grinding T-50 for electrum for a long time.  It's led to an almost perfect record since I started, but I've only upgraded 18 cards.  (10 of which are to make the T-50/pvp deck better.)  Is there a faster way to get an upgraded deck?

grinding false gods for cash is faster than T50. sooo try to get this deck as soon as possible. if you dont have much of it built, then go for an unupped FG grinder. i recommend scaredgirl's (almost) unupped deck or this http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6758.0.html. or you could use this http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5656.0.html
