against many gods the key is an early immortalized otyugh. You say so yourself in at least three strategy descriptions for gods.

Now, is there a FG deck based on getting an immortal otyugh+bonewall+bone yard combo out? Because against most of the gods that this deck can beat, the majority of the battle is getting that otyugh out early enough to slow down damage/stall and feed bone yard/wall.

I'm not even sure two Hourglasses belong in the deck.  Yeah, it's great when you turn 2 double-nova hourglass and actually roll a time quanta or three with towers (and it doesn't get destroyed!), but how much often does that really happen?  And how much less often would it happen with 1?  Playing a second is nearly verboten barring really unusual randomness, and often I find my self cutting off usage after ~4 turns anyway.  Really, what's the point of having it if you can't use it?  Dodging that triple yellow card draw has a lot of value.

On the contrary, I find the Hourglasses pretty useful. I have my otys in the middle or end of the deck VERY often (i even lost against Neptune cos my first oty was the 9th last card in the deck). anyways protect artifact REALLY helps here. with it, i killed eternal phoenix (i lolled when he frractalled ash instead of phoenix) AND graviton on my first try.

That is certainly an option, and is probably worth more testing.

-1 Pulvy, +1 Butterfly, +1 Quint.
Personally, I see nothing wrong with Pulverizer besides the fact that it competes for weapon slot with Eternity. Butterfly is expensive and unreliable. I like the Quint edit, though. Quintessences are really very necessary, especially with the new control gods like Neptune and Osiris.
I really like the butterfly quint option myself, and always run it instead of the pulv.  I find that running a butterfly means I run an extra Oty + quint, this is good, because  I can draw an Oty or quint faster.  I can butterfly a quinted skellie if needed, I can butterfly an Oty 0/5 to take down a flame wall, and I dont have to discard my Pulv when I need Eternity to rewind a growing Forest Spectre or some other over-sized critter.  If I have Eternity in my hand, but cant use it, cos Im waiting for Pulv it's a tough call... with Butterfly its easy.

gemini likes to save up PUs and then generate 20 friggin' momentumed massive dragons. O.o
He just TU'd three of my mutated Crimson dragons with momentum and i literally got so lucky to survive that turn and win

i pulled a bone shield which i needed to win, then used an hourglass to draw a quantum tower which gave me enough quanta when i played it to play the shield. Mind you i had 7 hp at the time with 3 20 attack dragons out w/ momentum ><. I had eternity out thank god to reverse time one, mutated one and got lucky it turned into like a 3/4 creature and then healed up with 4 shards out and managed to survive the next turn to reverse time again and gain control. But yeah, point being i hate it when momentum TU combo comes out, you rarely come out of that alive.

Also just wanted to stop by and say that i love the deck, i had all the cards for it so i just put it together yesterday and its got a great win rate so far. great build!

I posted earlier 1.21 stats on my deck: pup's -1 Pulvy, +1 Butterfly: Here (http://elementsstatistics.comxa.com/getstatistics.php?dv=1078914375)

I was 42-47, so it's about the same either way.  The pulvy is better imo.  Sure, it sometimes gets destroyed, but butterfly is way slower, more expensive and only works on your other oty or your skellies (unless you're playing a god w/eclipse).  And quinting your butterfly leaves your damage producer unquinted.

I thought about adding another quint to protect the butterfly and because getting out a quinted oty is so crucial, but really where does it end?  I could add another oty.  Or two.  Or cut the deck to 30.

Meh.

Hm...

I don't see a Butterfly Effect on that decklist.  (Am I just blind?)

You are not. I don't think butterfly was available to add on the statistics site when I started recording data.

incredible ..

thanks Puppy, this deck works like charm even without sundial and even without relying on golden hourglass ..
i'm testing it 1.5 hours and have:

> perl -E 'say "\[b\]",9 / 12 * 100, "% of won fights\[/b\]"'
75% of won fights

Puppychow -

Nice deck and thanks for putting your idea out!  I've finally reached accomplished all the upgrades last week, and started tracking the performance of this deck.  For anyone that's interested, the results are here:

http://elementsstatistics.comxa.com/getstatistics.php?dv=4005244472

I only play a few games a day (10-20), so I'll hope to get this up to about 250-500 games before I switch over to testing a new deck for comparison...  I'm not sure if I've just been getting bad draws, or whether the 1.22 FG's are just that much smarter now, but I'm coming out at around a 40% win rate.

Thanks again for the idea, and I'll continue to use this deck for farming purposes, so the stats should continue to develop and become more accurate!

I just got an incredibly beautiful screenshot with this deck against miracle. I destroyed all his pillars/towers, and drew my last card just after he generated his 12th quanta to cast miracle, and I killed him that turn :D
