About the diamond shield, you just draw until you get a pulvy or steal so you're ready. It's rare that he plays the shield and protects it the same turn. And if he does, you rely on mutants (and rely on the rewinded mutants to stay alive).
Everytime I can remember playing him (at least 5 times in recent memory), he'll have a PA'd Diamond Shield in the first few turns.  Combine that with the fact he Quicksands every last one of my towers, and I find him almost unbeatable.  I usually quit after two or three turns.  Maybe it's just my luck.

I know this topic has been discussed before but it does seem that random events do seem to be "non-random" at times. I know they're weird FG randomizer issues at times as well (for instance today out of 21 games i've had Scorpio(7), Ferox(5), Paradox(3), Octane(3), DG(1), DM(1)). I've restarted, cleared my cache, played on kong, played back here and still seem to be getting the same FG's.

Most incidences are just coincidences but i do find that certain draws/events seem to cluster.

Since Seism only has 2 diamond shields, and usually wastes his first PA on towers, it IS very rare to get a PAd diamond shield early.

So you're just unlucky :P.

Anyone tried the Antimattr configuration with 9 towers and + 1 protect artifact?
Ive been playing with 1 PA and its working good, wonder if 2 PAs would be even better VS rainbow/ FGs with explosion

Yeah, mine is close.

I am using one Protect Artifact and only one Bone Wall, but basically the same as everyone else.  I went back down to 7 towers, but I might add more.

I think there is enough defense in this deck without the second bone/storm combo. I've finished a lot of games against tougher gods with 2 firestorms, and 2 bonewalls sitting in my hand. The gods which are particularly susceptible to bone/storm are easy to beat anyways.

As far as Seism, i've had phenominal success against him lately. Every kind of defense this deck packs is good against him if you can play it, and the novas get you around quicksand. I find that you can best abuse his rewinds by playing a FFQ, a Druid, and a Oty all together when you're getting low on cards. He'll rewind all of them, but it's far better than him rewinding the same card several times and using up all your quanta of that type. If instead you get both your quints sooner in the match, use the second on the FFQ rather than the druid, he'll rewind fireflies, which are cheap, and you aren't using air quanta for anything after your queenie is out.

When i was running PA, i thought i needed it. Now that i don't, i don't miss it at all. Only Divine Glory and Rainbow have both healing and perm control, and PA isn't going to change your win % against these two anyways, since your success has as much to do with what they draw as what you do.

I run a similar deck now, but with a PA and an Improved Blessing. Blessing really helps me especially with Scorpio and can save me.
Am thinking whether to put in a feral bond too, I'm lacking some elemental masteries because SoG heals after my creatures attack.

Improved Blessing? Don't you mean Improved Miracle?

Miracle may help counter Scorpio's poison spam, but by the time you can use it with the other False Gods, you're already in control -- or you won't be able to use it before you get rushed by them.

If you wanted to put in a Feral Bond, replace a Shard of Gratitude with it.

What are the thoughts on a Pulvy post 1.21?  With the increased cost, it is very difficult to use and still have  :gravity for your Oty.
