Does this deck work mostly unupped against AI5 or 3?

this is not the kind of deck to play unupped, supernovas and SoGs MUST be upped, so thats 10 upgrades.  If you want an AI3 or 5 farmer there are better ones.

PuppyChow, I want to say thanks.  I finally beat Dream Catcher by using your deck idea.  The only thing I changed was swapping butterfly for pulvy.   ;D

Yes, it should. This deck takes a lot of experience to really learn when to play/use things.

Been trying this deck after a long absence from elements. Have to say I'm enjoying learning the deck. I agree Chaos Lord is easy with your Deck; in one game he stole my eternity when I was down to 3 cards, and like a perfect gentleman kept rewinding cards for me to replay on 'his' Q.

dear puppychow, thanks for your idea of this deck
i've test your deck since 1.17 and your deck is the one that i feel most comfortable.

what i wanna suggest is: if a GRAVITY SHIELD put in your deck, miracle, orisis, eolis can be defeated much easier really.
just add 1 card wont make your deck worse. and i think the percent of win can gets a 1-2%up .

Wish you may test a better result :)

I think this deck would work better with 2 PA because the deck have difficult against strong god and PA can help a lot i think.

yep this would be better if it had 2 PAs or maybe at least 1 but it still works fine without one

I was meaning 2 to have a better chance to have one of them quickly against destroy's pillar god.
I try with 2 and it work well.

I almost feel like this deck would do better with a gravity mark than a entropy mark.  I lose soooo many games because my two or three pillars whiff on gravity multiple consecutive turns.

The Supernovae are mostly there to pump out fast Oty/Quint (or fast Bonewall/Firestorm).  For that you need to get the  :gravity :gravity :gravity :aether (or the  :death :death :death :fire :fire :fire) "naturally" anyway.  Thus, for any draw that involves less than two Supernovae, you'd actually get the six :gravity (to cast and activate) faster if you had a gravity mark.

Most of the winnable matchups seem like they're 90% about Oty/Quint.  Why not maximize the "Oty-ness"?  If you did this, you'd have the luxury of playing three Oty (since the second one would often be cast-able and activate-able), and using your Pulverizer as much as you want.  Maybe a Gravity Shield too, since you can support it.

Other than one Fallen Druid, which is a late game card, there's no usage for the entropy quanta anyway.  So the mark does nothing other than guaranteeing supernova can be cast on turn 3.  But if you don't draw supernova, the quanta is wasted, and often one supernova doesn't make your uncastable stuff cast-able anyway, since you need X natural quanta.  And again, you only need to get two Entropy from pillars to make every Supernovae you draw castable.  How hard is that?

I'm not sure which shield to replace, but something like this:

Code: [Select]
52n 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u6 71b 749 74b 74b 74b 77f 7do 7do 7gp 7n3 7q5 7q5 7q8 80h 80h 80h

Not having entropy mark = very clogged hands, since you *usually* draw 2+ supernovas. In fact, without entropy mark, the supernovas are pointless; the point of them is to provide a jumpstart on quanta on turn 2-3 but if you can't play them until turn 5, for instance, they don't do anything. If you really want a deck that FOCUSES on getting a quinted oty out (where while mine really likes it, it doesn't absolutely rely on it), I would suggest Getawu's oty rainbow.
