I built it for PvP, but it is also effective as a psuedoEM deck versus AI3; I tested it there with success as I tweaked it.  I suspect it could beat some T50, although not the fastest deck to do so.

I actually beat DM's antimatter deck with this deck.  Antimatter is one of the reasons I favor the stalkers as secondary critters as they still poison under antimatter

I remember running a deck like this right after adrenaline was released. I actually manged to beat Poisiden with it.

Could you use unupped vampires?

You could, but vampire would lose 2 attack, which is really what the only attack the deck relies on, besides death stalkers.

So yes, you can, but it won't be as effective.

If you're using Minor Vampires, you might want to use 5 or 6 of them to compensate for the lower damage.

Due to the way buffs work, minors CAN work.  You may not have the damage to keep up though.
