The way to play it is easy: survive until you can play your game. I've tested it and it can beat any FG with a good first draw and barely all the beatable ones with a not so good draw. But even with a bad draw you can survive.
I use pendulums because half of the cards I need are aether and time. That's de base of the deck and the way to survive while I draw and draw and I build my strategy.
