Is this deck viable competitively? If so, I'm totally building this.

The one I posted should be. Not many decks out there can beat this deck, especially if the other guy doesn't know you strategy. He will think that you are decking out, until the last turn when you destroy him.

Biggest problem would be if he gets a Pulverizer out early, or if he has a bunch of Explosions and is using them on your Sundials.

I really wish I had the cash to try this out. I'm pretty sure it would be fun to play.

I might have to try it.

I still have the aether towers from waaaaaaay back when I used mono-aether to fight the FGs.

I think I only have 2 TUs though. Or I might have 6, I don't remember off the top of my head...

You have TONS of cards, weren't you aiming for six copys of everything at one point? Why not test it in the trainer?

I still am aiming for 6 of everything. It's a long, slow climb though- and I've slowed down a bit in playing since there hasn't been anything new in a while. I have at least 2 of almost everything, 6 of maybe 1/3 of the cards (upgraded and not), and most of the rest are somewhere in between. I'm currently about 600k away from finishing that goal. The only card I don't have any of at this point is the "shard" from the shard of gratitude.

Also- the trainer takes time away from my collecting :)

Well, the deck would be viable if you didn't have to draw all 6 supernova before you can win. I just played a pvp match and my last supernova was the last card in my deck. he killed me one turn before i got there.

And you think that situation will happen every time?

If you had survived one more round, would you have won?

the farenhite + sundials combo would kill this deck. On ur last turn, the enemy has an sundial out. AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
A sudden thought came to me: devourers.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
But this decks pretty cool. Maybe Ill try it sometime

I don't think Fahrenheit + Sundials is that big of a deal unless the opponent knows your deck and saves his Sundial for the last turn.

Devourers.. yeah.. they would totally own this deck. If they take only one fire quantum it's game over. But luckily most decks don't have them.

why would the opponent playing sundials be a problem? (unless its Fahrenheit)

they wouldn't be able to kill you either (unless you were low enough for their weapon to get you). and you can kill them before they see your drags

only way i see sundial as a problem is when they have the damage to kill you and its still up, but most people don't do that.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

With this deck you will generally kill your enemy in one turn when you have 0-2 cards left if your deck. If the opponent knows your strategy, he can save Sundials in the end and force you to deck out.
