This is an unupped deck that I have been using in pvp1. More than the usual 30 cards in this one, but it seems to be somewhat successful for mid to late game play. Here it is:

Strategy:
It starts slow. I play as many pillars and novas as I can exclusively for several turns to build quanta. This also allows the other player to get comfortable building an army of creatures on the field. Next, I play a voodoo doll with grav pull and BB on it, cards & quanta willing. BB will buy some time if they have a weapon equipped and will prevent it from using its ability. Most of their creatures will then attack the VD which hurts the other player's health. I continue to play VDs, BBs, and grav pulls as needed to keep their damage focused on them. Once enough quanta has built up, I throw in NTs on QPs and use the nymphs any way I can. For example, if a RN comes out, I can use the built up fire to rage on one of my extra VDs on the field. The rage instantly does 5 dmg to the enemies health, and it also turns the VD into a moderately strong attacking creature. Sometimes I can get screwed by getting a bad random nymph, but that's part of the fun of this deck imo.

I enjoy this deck for two reasons:
1) Since it's unupped, I get to play it in pvp1. This may be kinda bad (Diablo is part of my name), but it's fun playing people new to the game with this strategy. Pvp1 has lots of phase shields, and I'm just trying to do my part to help beginners imagine decks outside of 6 PSs ;) Plus, with all the variables in this deck, they still have a good chance of getting the win.
2) I love the "gamble" aspect of this deck. I typically try to build 30 card decks, most of which rush in one way or another. The variability of the card draws and the random nymphs add a little excitement. This is not a fast grinding deck at all.

This is my first deck to post, and after searching this board I am surprised I found no one has posted it previously. I fully plan on building an upped version of this deck once I get back to AI3/PVP2 grinding for cash. Feel free to offer suggestions/comments, and I'll try to get stats on this deck eventually.

EDIT: Just now saw this is based on a strategy called Shak'ars Revenge. Guess this should be considered a modification of that.

Although I've played this game for some time, I am new to the forums. I do some casual browsing, but usually I'm trying to stay away from reading up on too many deck ideas so I can discover ideas on my own, and through discussion with people. I may eventually look up those decks, but not for a while. I wanna continue to play with this deck. & I'm not trying to be rude btw.

The tears add some fun for me. Last game I got a grey nymph on the field with 3 extra voodoo dolls. So, I poisoned each of them. The other player lost health from the direct poison he/she acquired, and from the poison on the dolls. Same concept as red nymph and rage. I did triy making a "pure" voodoo+GP+BB deck myself, but I wasn't real successful at making an unupped one. As far as rush, thought about it, but having fun with this right now.

Sure the tears may add some fun to you, but at 7 :water a pop, how many can you get out each game? They seem to just clog your hand.

If you really want the tears though, you should drop 2 tears, because lets face it, you're not going to power your 6 tears off a water mark and some quantum pillars. 4 will give you that draw chance to get at least one out per game, yet it won't clog up your hand badly

since the decks for fun and tears are fun, tears are fine. but i do think you should drop dwon to 3 or 4 nymphs tears, as you dont need that many, do you?

I think dropping some tears is a brilliant idea. I was just noticing how slow this deck can be. thanks for the suggestions!

With all those pillars +the novas you MIGHT have space for a PU in there.  Then again, it could strain the quanta too, so you'd need to test to see if that works.

Also, I think you could do away with 1 doll and 1 GP.  After you pour GP+BBs into a doll, your other dolls will mainly just be sitting there, and your other GPs will be clogging up your hand.

My only fear with 1 doll and 1 GP is that one or both COULD end up on the bottom of the deck... This happening would be a statistical outlier (sp?), but I suppose a smaller deck would help eliminate the magnitude of them being lower on the deck but also increasing the likeliness that they could be on the bottom... perhaps a hybrid of this idea: a few dolls and a few GPs. Then, I could supplement the deck with a PU or something similar. Thanks for the input!

He said do away with 1, not do with 1. That means using 5 dolls/GP. 5 of each sounds more acceptable.

Oh, lol, I need to learn how to read!  ;D I think reducing it down is a great idea. I've been kinda getting frustrated w/ how this deck does "clog up," so getting it closer to 30 cards will hopefully help that out.

Currently, this deck struggles against pests, earthquakes, or anything that can reduce the quanta pool generation. Maybe making it less cluttered will help with that.

I just had another thought...if you're definitely using nymph tears, why not take out your BBs, add in some earth pends, and use nymph tears on the earth pends to create auburn nymphs to replace the BBs?  THAT would be really cool  :)
