"shut up and die" (speedbow with silence kills most opponents in PvP) https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=32769.msg413953#msg413953

Been using this deck for a while with great success against wide variety of deck types in PvP. I'm starting to get bored of it and will try a new strategy, so I thought I'd share the deck with the community.  I don't know if anyone has posted similar in the forums, but I certainly haven't come upagainst a deck anything like this.

I don't remember seeing an actual deck with so many silences, and I personally thought of silence as a difficult card to use due to timing issues.
However, this seems to be a nice combination of cheap creatures, fast draw, and card 'denial.'

If anybody is interested in trying this and is feeling lazy, the code:
(Exactly same as above..)

Looks good. :)
I'm just wondering if Epinephrine is the right green card to play here.

Epinephrine is great in this deck. Played on puffer fish it's awesome.  Played on charger it helps to deal with shields if the opponent is lucky enough to get one up in time. Played on any of the other creatures it speeds up damage more than, say, a frog would. It's exceedingly rare to get stuck with E. in your hand and no creature to play it on for long enough to matter.

PS the precogs do far more than just speed up the deck. They give great insight into when to play silence, i.e. whether to play silences early to slow down the opponent or whether to hold them back until you can play several in a row for a wipe out.

Very fun.

Perhaps you should replace Chaos Power with Discord (and Vampire Dagger with some other :darkness card, like Gargoyle or Improved Steal)? The focus of the deck is to lock the enemy down early-game, which is exactly when Discord is most useful. Discord gives you some time to draw a Silence, or if you already have them, you can wait to play Silence and lock the opponent down for a few more turns.

Question. Do you ever run low on :aether due to the silences?

Not generally a problem.  There are really two ways to use the silences.  One is to play a couple or so early on just to get a headstart over your opponent - in that case you don't need many  :aether. The second way is to hold back until you can play several in succession, by which time you will also have enough  :aether to keep going with them (remember you play them over several turns and keep building quanta over time. The precognitions are really useful to help inform which of these is the best tactic to use.

It will be much slower if unupgraded.
Slower quarta production (pillars instead of towers)Creatures weaker unuppedSpells more expansive unupped
But if you really want to try, you might add a few more pillars just to take care of the first problem + hopefully reduce the effect of the 2nd and 3rd.

You're right, it is slower. But I don't actualy think this is a viable deck unupped. you said it yourselve, the creatures are to weak. I think you wont be able to do enough  dammage to win. you wil be outrushed anyway.
