Plastica, that variant is pretty good (hadn't thought of scarab) but I'd suggest Vampire instead of Vampire dagger - A vampire buffed with SoPa can heal you a lot, and has saved my ass many times.
Do you usually get enough aether quanta to use fractal?
Thanks for feedback
Thanks.
This is my reasoning for using Vampire Dagger rather than Vampire. Vampire starts at 5. Let's say you get the Vamp all the way up to 28 with SoPa. That takes 11 turns to accomplish, right? And that is a lot of health.
Well, let's say that 11 turns ago, instead of playing a Vampire, you played a Vampire dagger. 11*6=66. The vampire isn't going to heal you unless you stop growing, while the dagger continuously heals you.
In an SoPa deck, you should really only be attacking once or twice. (Either drop the shard at 50%+ damage or at 100%+ damage)
So, even a vampire with 28 attack, which is a remarkable feat, would only be responsible for healing you for 56, (Even worse, that health will only come to you at the end of the game, when you will already most likely win) while Vampire dagger would heal you for 66 in that same amount of time, divided evenly throughout your turns.
(Fractal is quite a costly card, but I do often find the quanta to use it. Great finisher with Ball Lightnings!)
