I tend to run Scarabows with some Blessings, 4 QT's and PC over shields because you're a mid-game domination deck, i.e. you don't have the stamina to survive damage that bypasses Scarabs Ãf your Scarabs are also being blocked. Besides the fact that shields tend to block both your offence and your means of survival (Vagger) and the fact that Eternity/OE/Lobo is very bad news, healing tends to be what helps more if the deck works as intended. If not, it means yer Scarabs weren't able to nom and you can only hope to rush anyway, which PC helps with.
Evasion shields+Vagger is always strong, just not necessary against Silver level opponents. It's still possible to sub some Armors for Fogs if you really find 'em essential.
With big Scarabs on the board, additional ones are weak draws. This is why I tend to run 5 Scarabs and get the space for more tech cards like more PC, T-storm or Purify depending on what I'm facing a lot of (Quint or Fog are there, as is Fractal if you sub Novas for QT's at which point you'll definitely want some Fogs).
