Also, Mono-Aether kills the unupped version. Immaterials = no Reverse Time, and if you can't draw your DS's in time you're dead.

Immaterial hurts, yeah.

But HGs are essential to the build. Speed is needed early on to rip through your deck and draw all required cards (novas/eternity/dune/buff) as early as humanly possible.

32 cards is too bulky and even further speeds down the process and gives more bad draws. But in all honesty, this deck functions 10x worse without HGs and with more novas. This deck also functions much better if you upgrade HGs/buffs early on to really get them out as soon as possible without hurting the effectiveness of the deck. It is NOT a nova based deck, so finding the perfect balance between nova/quantum balance is needed in all areas.

Hell, I used this version with only HGs/off element cards upgraded and beat 6 of the fastest rushes around, sometimes due to haxxor shield, others due to sheer draw power. Trust me, much better in PvP2 than PvP1 due to PvP2 is mainly rushses.

This is one of the decks I use for lulz in PvP1. I use a slightly modded version, with two nymphs instead of hourglasses, and it's more offense base. Great deck :)

I don't discredit this deck at all, but I think this is a no... with heavy tweaking (I mean, changing almost the entire deck), yes...

I tried it once, just for fun. It was against Chaos Lord and I almost EMed him. I think it was purely luck (early eternity, his clogged hand and nothing useful) but it can kill FGs.

If you like dune scorpion stalls, you might want to try Eternal Chaos. Rush begone really works best in an immolation environment. Rewinding against FGs isn't likely to do anything but slow them down a bit.

It's Rush Be Gone, not God-Rush Be Gone.

Gods are either often fast enough to outrush your defence, double draw out of eternity lock, or blast your permanents to dust.
