Decided to make a deck which utilized Ghost of the Past's ability completely so I went ahead and did a PSNbow off of it:

Card denial in its finest.  Completely lock down the opponent's hand and quanta and fast.  Cards such as Black Hole can be substituted with more Nightmares if preferred, but this variant has the definite advantage of killing Rainbows more efficiently.

Eh, that doesn't really add to the lock down theme I'm looking for here.  Keep in mind this isn't a deck designed to do damage in the shortest time possible; it's a deck designed to make sure the opponent can't do just that.  If any type of CC needs to get added here, it would be Rewinds.  Remove the EQs and your stalling potentially gets reduced by a lot.  I know you think the Ghosts are too high priced.  But the fact is that between the cards here and the pure lock down effects, production of quanta is either easy to come by or not that great of a concern.  I suppose I could exchange the upped for unupped in order to reduce that quanta strain if it really is necessary...but during my testing such a thing hasn't been a problem.

Yep.  And with the extra boost of up to 13 damage it's even meaner than before.

Seems to stall a lot on start (5 of 7 games). I'll have a hand full of cards but no way to play them, then I'm discarding cards for 2-3 turns waiting.

Not sure if it's an actual issue or just an aberration.

Odd, I haven't had that problem.  Supernova generally gets me what I need to play anything I desire from my hand with the exception of Ghost; I've never had to discard cards unless I failed to draw a single Pendulum, which should only happen about 5 out of 100 games.
