Idea for this was that there are cards (graboid, lycanthrope, lava golem, toadfish, mind flayer, fallen elf etc.) that cost one element, have abilities that cost another, and as such are perfect for a rainbow.

Seems like you have an awful lot of QPs. Add in six supernovas and I have a feeling your deck will be much smoother.

Yes, ditch 8 of them for 6 supernova, at least if you have the cash. If you don't have the cash, you can still ditch 6 for normal novas.
