Intro:Basically Wings/Recluses combo coupled with some SoSe and a few "Chargers" (gets progressively stronger). This deck is very capable, for it can beat down SoSac (when Elements 1.30 is live), can hold its own against rushes (most creatures in rushes aren't Airborne) as well as denials, and lots of fun with random cards from SoSe; every game is truly different!
Tips and strategies:•Wings/Recluses and Sanctuaries are key, as they're your only defences until you make some Desirable Discoveries. Set up Hourglasses and get those cards flowing into your hands and you can potentially rush your opponent.
•Utilize your Steals wisely; don't hesitate to Steal an opponent's shield to defend yourself even if you already have Wings active or you fail to get Recluses out or they were killed by your opponent, which allow some scary flying creatures to get to you.
•Use your "Chargers" to grow up some amazing attack power; play the creatures you get from SoSe wisely.
•With SN nerfed, I think keeping the quanta costs down when possible in rainbows is mandatory, like the unupped Forest Spirit; it is only a difference of 1 attack and defence, and the slightly lowered stats will also make it a lesser kill priority of the AI.
•Keep in mind that SoSe may give you a Butterfly Effect; it may be important to keep at least 1 Forest Spirit not grown if you think your opponent may have some troublesome Permanents so you can turn your Spirit into a destroying machine (literally). <---Only applies if you have 2 Forest Spirits in V.1.1
Interchangables:•You may add in an extra Purify to counter SoSa Poison Dials, for you need one to remove SoSa status from your opponent and maybe another to cleanse yourself of poison counters
•You may consider adding in a Pulverizer, since the deck is low on
usage. However, Pulvy takes a time to put down and activate, and by then it may have already become the victim of opponent PC. I think the Steals are sufficient PC as they are have an instantaneous effect and the deck does not have a single bit of
usage at all
•The Butterfly Effect creature is currently Forest Spirit, but you may also consider Physalia, Iridium Golem, or Graviton Firemaster since they're cheap creatures and with decent abilities. I don't recommend Micro Abom (High
usage from SoSa's first card and Antimatter) or Pests (due to 6
usage from Steals already) or Ray of Light due to it being costless (may mess up the mulligan).
I'm giving ralouf's Gold League Killer (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,29406.0.html) credit for our similar decks, although we have different aims and strategies; mine's more of a Wings stall/versatile SoSac counter/SoSe random cards goodness, and his is sort of one of the original Timebows with SoSe.
More later.
