Fast Phoenix' which are hard to kill, 3 Deflagrations to remove unwanted Shields/Weapons, Arsenic and Vampire Stiletto, also Fog Shield to do fast damage and get an advantage to other rush decks, they often dont have permanent destruction, and 5 anti-creature cards, you can play after 2 immolations, to stall at the later game.

Sure, you need a pretty good draw, but the deck is very fast and can kill pretty every other deck. I played it in the Trials of Fire against the other challenger, and i won 3-1.

Very nice. Reminds me of a Golem rainbow, but Phoenixes essentially negate creature control and you don't have to worry about :earth.

The only thing that worries me a bit is the fact that you have two weapons. Both of them are cheap and excellent, but having two of them is a pretty good way to clog up your hand. I'd take one out and add something in. Chaos Seed might be cool, and Lycanthrope may work. Great deck.

i definitly would agree, but i used the deck for phase 3 of the fire trials, so i exspected deflagrations(at least 2 in opponents deck) and then 2 weapons are ok, exspecially against other rush decks, both of them are very nice and can decide a match.

otherwise i would change the Arsenic for a Poison

Good deck. I've played decks with the phoenix motif before...exceedingly hard to beat.

this deck is based on the idea, to make all creatures pretty indestructable with strong anti-creature cards, so i dont like the idea of a mind flayer in it, or you play another idea, then i strongly suggest putting in at least 3 lava golems instead of phoenix'(i would run 6 + 1-2 phoenix') and maybe also other creatures.

Aye, I now after some testing agree, I do however pack flyers on my golemdeck (no weapons) and sometimes I do add weapons..
