Ctrl:Obviously, there is plenty of it.
Are you encountering Dragons? Thunderbolts and RE will break their wings.
Creature spam? Plagues, Lightnings Storms, Thorn Carpace will clean up the field.
Is your enemy rushing ahead? Destroy his creatures and slow him down with Earthquakes and Black Holes. He won't recover easily now.
Copy:Is there greater satisfaction than win with your enemie's weapons? Use Mindgate and Protect it to perceive what your enemys options are. Afterwards use Fractal and return him more damage than he dealt you (and ever will).
After you stole his weapon and his shields he will be completely defenseless (you already destroyed his army of creatures).
Delete:Delete the damage he gave you with Sanctuaries and Purify to gain a nice EM (nothing less you merit).
This will then give him the last blow and completely destroy his hope to win the match.
Remarks:This deck
isn't meant to win a lot. It's main purpose is to anger your enemy by killing all his creatures. Many PvP decks don't run more creatures than this deck can kill.
In my opinion this deck has the ability to win against almost everything but most likely also the ability to lose against almost everything. Whether you have what you need to counter the deck you're facing or not might be luck dependant but your odds aren't that bad as you will see later.
And I know what you want to complain about:
"5 Pends in 36 cards??? Are you crazy or dumb or something?"I made some calculations and the probability to start with zero Pends is
31.5%. And yes, this is a lot.
But: There is still our beloved mulligan! With this, further calculations say that the chance to start with at least one Pend is a very decent
90%!! Therefore, in average, in "only" one of ten games you won't draw a pend. If you don't like this you can adjust the deck to your liking. Notice that since there are more SN than Pends the chances aren't small that you will have both in your opening hand.
These numbers are similar to the ones I got by test running this
Simulator.
--> 100'000 Runs gave me
88.62% for starting with pends (my calculations 90%).
35.02% were mulligans (my calculations 31.5%).
Cards that I have two copies of in the deck are with ~33% in your starting hand.
Now to some things you might consider troublesome:Mono Aether: - If he's using Sow-Rush it's pretty much a loss (unless you swap a sanctuary for reflective shield). Healing won't be enough, Mindgate too slow. Maybe if you get a headstart with Earthquakes, Thorn Carpace and Mindgate you can win.
- Psion can be beaten. You should have enough CC to deal with them and then start copying, healing and reduce his quanta production. Though Fractal might still be troublesome.
- Classic (no Sow, no Psion): Just hope you draw Earthquake and Thorn Carpace early. Immortals are expensive and you might live long enough to see them die or maybe mindgate some Phase Shields in case Thorn Carpace doesn't show up.
Stalls:- Earth/Light stall might be troublesome. They often have larger decks than this. Your CC is useless and since you have nothing to deal damage your quanta denial won't help much.
- Fire/Light; you might be able to win this if you mindgate Fahrenheits, Bolts and Pillars. But nonetheless it will be very tough.
Poison:- If he's using Poison you should live long enough to draw a Purify. And you can Mindgate his SoSac and stall with that.
Rush:- As mentioned earlier, your chances are high that you can start off with some CC. You have some area spells and rush decks often rely on creatures with low HP. Therefore if you use your Plague and Lightning Storm wisely you should be able to win.
- Mono Air with early SoFr can be bothersome since its rush creature don't die of one Lightning Storm and they gain shield bypass. But with PC and Plague you might be able to win.
Rainbow:- Hope for a Black Hole and area Spells. QT Rainbows are often not that fast if you were able to use a BH after the first SN. And you have Earthquacke to deal with the few towers they often have. PSNBows might have a faster set up and more CC resistant creatures, so I guess Thorn Carpace or a nice cards from Mindgate are your best bet here (together with PA).
Feedback is appreciated!
Tell me which variations you tried and how they worked out!
I'm still testing it. But so far, for me, this deck is a lot of fun and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do

Notice, this deck here isn't tested. It just contains all cards I consider worth a thought to put in. This deck can be changed in many many ways and it's personal preference how you want to use it.
SoFo provides PC and BH.
GF as CC or stall on SoFo.
Silence to break shield or SoSac chains.
Arsenic because Plague kills slowly and Poison stacks nicely.
Rewind if you want to mindgate a specific creature and/or slow down the opponent.
Mitosis to increase your army. You most likely will have the mindgated pillars to produce the quanta necessary.
Dusk to replace Thorn Carpace (Mitosis are expensive).
Explosion because current PC is not enough.
Pandemonium. Might be a savior in many occasions.
Shockwave is cheaper and deals more damage. Probably better in PvP.
Improved Fog, in case you want to stick with steals and no Dusk Mantle or don't want to wait for Thorn Carpace.
Fire Storm, another area spell that deals more damage than Lightning Storm but is more expensive.
Basilisk Blood, in case you don't fear the loss of some permanents.
