? ? ? = Shard of Serendipity
This is the best deck that I have ever put together, and when I say that I do not take credit for making a utility-knife/meta rainbow with SoS in them, I mean that in the sense of my own experience and modification around with the deck.
I use this deck as a lvl 3 grinder primarily and have a nice EM rate with it. Recently I have been testing it in pvp 2 and in the arena and have surprising success.
The key to this deck is having room for SoS to play, as well as gauging the opponent you are playing. If you are playing someone conservative hold onto key cards like bolts and explosions and rely on SoS to provide power. If you have no worries go full blast.
The versatility of this deck is crazy, it takes strong lock downs on quanta or health to provide a threat. SoS not only helps to support the meta-game of this deck but most times provides overkill. Those worried about the random factor of SoS need not worry, with 5 SoS you will have more than cards in a pool to work with.
For further tuning you could prob take out the werewolf, a discord, etc. and replace them with a Tower or nova to boost speed or further the utility knife aspect of the deck. I like it as is personally.
Pros and cons
+Versatility and meta-game ability is ridiculous.
+Often third or second turn assures a lot of useful cards being played.
+Something important to me is the fun SoS brings to playing this deck. Seeing it pull combo cards and counter cards is a lot of fun.
-SoS clogging. There are times you will have 3 or 4 SoS in hand with little quanta production, I am fine with this but I am sure there are others who would tweak this deck for faster or or more effective quanta production. Both are swell.
-SoS does not always give you what you need or want, but more than not it is clutch.
-Strategic playing is key at times, and it is important to know when. I do not know if this is so much a con but I could see people getting upset over going full blast and still not winning.
-Not a lot of creatures.
There you have it! I cannot say much more on how to play this deck due to the random factor other than know who you are playing. Have fun!
