If I substituted the Rays for SoGs and an extra Dial, or used an Animate Weapon or Sparks for Cremation? Or maybe the Spine Carapace with the extra 1 dmg reduction? I can almost build this deck but was upgrading some rares and didnt want to spend the extra cash if it was futile.
I tried to stay away from the Animate Weapons (and Fahrenheits) mostly because I think FG decks can only support 1 type of combo before it gets too inconsistent with too many dead cards in your hand.  In normal rainbows it's Quintessence and creatures to win the game.  In this deck it's Cremation and sacrificial creatures.

But it's worth testing.

Thus far you are 100% correct. The Fahrenheits and Animate are not working very well. Not enough fire quanta (the way I am running) to make Fahr worth while. When i get something I am not embarrassed to post, I will share here as well and perhaps there is a deck in here that is sexy. I do love the fractal phoenix Cremation as a kill.

My question is, why do you use those creamtions? Do you really need them? Its like Supernova, and you are not using tons od fire quanta or i have missed sth

I guess you wanted to change sth from normal rainbow?

In theory, for 3 reasons:
  • Fire Shield + 2 Fire Storm is usually too much fire for a normal Rainbow.  (I may add a 3rd Fire Storm.)
  • Fractal Phoenix Spam
  • Sacrifice creatures to fuel your Graveyards.
But I agree, something's off.  You have to understand that it started as a 60 card deck.  I just threw in everything I wanted and started cutting back more and more.  It started with 2 Fire Shields, 3 Fire Storms, 3 Graveyards, and 2 Feral Bonds.  Mass skeletons was a big part of the deck, so once you had 2 or more Graveyards, the ability to sacrifice them became a big deal.

I guess it's not too impressive if you only have 1 Graveyard in play.

Hm...

Yeah, the main idea could have been lost due to removing more and more cards, but now i see the purpose of haveing those cremation. thanks

Version 1.03

I skewed it back towards my original idea of the Heavy Fire/Cremation/Graveyard/Feral Bond build.  Instead of adding a 3rd Graveyard, I put in a Boneyard instead, to help (a little) with the Death Quanta.  Here are all the changes:

-3 (Unupped) Sundials
-1 Shard of Gratitude
-1 Cremation
-1 Fire Queen
-1 Electrum Hourglass

+1 Boneyard
+1 Supernova
+1 Feral Bond
+1 Fire Storm
+3 (Upped) Sundails

Time Mark --> Entropy Mark

Here's a Phoenix-less win over Ferox.  Yeah, it's just Ferox.

I also beat Chaos Lord, but no screenshots.

(I'll updated the original post when I have a version I like.)

I used your exact deck...so far

Chaos Lord: Got owned
Rainbow: EM'd him (early pulvy = minimal quanta and perms), Then next time basically got EM'd by him (think i did 8 damage total)
Miracle: Lost (too slow)
Dream Catcher: Lost...doing well until Butterfly Effect came out
Decay: Lost...too much denial/control

I really like the idea of this deck however I feel like it has too many high-cost cards and too little quanta...it also is not that fast most of the time...dunno how you can fix it but keep trying because i really like it i just havent had a ton of success...maybe incorporate more novas in there...or another hourglass or sundial...

Sounds like a very interesting deck idea. One suggestion I would make would be to take out the extra boneyard and put in an eclipse. It would double all of your skeletons attack power, so for attacking it would be better. The only drawback is that you wouldnt fill your side quite as fast so your bonds may not heal as much, and I havent actually played the deck yet so I dont know how big of deal that is. But yeah with an eclipse and a graveyard or 2 you can kill things very quickly, especially with a fire shield taking out their creatures.

Note that if Ferox played his Jade Shield all your 1/1 and 2/2 creatures would be useless.
Hmm, eclipse sounds like a good idea.

eclipse doesn't effect malig cells as they're other creatures to prevent eclipse abuse.

Who said anything about malignent cells? The 1/1 creatures he is referring to are the regular skeletons from the boneyard the OP added in his later version. I suggested not using that at all and instead using an eclipse and 2 graveyards as opposed to 1 boneyard and 2 graveyards.
