Thinksmart. I like that word. Yes, it's for decking out. Why you have to make it personal (again) is beyond me, but your passive aggressiveness belongs in kindergarten. You're better than that.

you should've said earlier that most game wins will come from decking out
not really, decking out a FG takes forever. but FG seem to work one of either ways:
1 - they dont use much CC, but can reduce damage;
2 - they have many CC, but take most of the damage.

in case 1, fallen elf/druid will make sure you do damage. In case 2, pulvy will take care of any shields if needed, so just make sure you dont deck out and the cells will do all the damage.

when I say the malignant cells are the most important thing, its because they can kill in less than 8 turns and make sure you keep your full health.

about octane: yes, pretty much a loss. Theres one and only one possibility to win: you start with pulvy and dont run out of gravity mana, place horuglasses to be destroyed and, when he plays unstable gas + fire shield, you are going to lose all the mutants, so u need the second aflatoxin. If he plays both in the same turn twice you  are lost. yes, I've had this lucky win, but octane is pretty much a loss =þ

I've started a win/lose rate, Ill post how I've done so far:

win/lose rate:15 wins/33 games
miracle - 2/3
octane - 0/4
decay - 0/1
incarnate - 2/2
morte - 1/3
osiris 0/1
destiny - 1/3
scorpio - 1/1
dark matter - 0/1
paradox - 1/1
ferox - 1/2
dream catcher 1/2
fire queen - 2/2
chaos lord - 2/2
obliterator - 1/1
seism - 0/3
eternal phoenix - 0/1

Another possiblity for beating octane would simply be to get 1/2 mutants with destroy/steal fairly early. This combined with a pulvy would be very useful :P. Though his eagle eyes still may be a nuisance heh.

A mirror shield may be a good replacement for turtle shield, or even just an add. It'll block any spells as well as damage from the cells, and can easily be replaced by another shield if/when needed. Its cheap casting cost is very useful for reducing early damage if you draw it, and it makes Octane and Decay a lot easier.

15 win 33 loses ? that is 31% win rate. i suggest adding one protect artifact one permafrost and 2 quint.

Adding what works for other decks doesn't necessarily make this deck work. Its strategy is a bit different, as elder elemental has explained in previous posts. If you're looking for a high win rate, you can use something like CCYB, which has said permafrosts and quints. The point of this thread is to discuss/improve this deck.

The strange thing is that he said that this deck has a higher win rate, from what i see its pretty slow since you have to wait for the FG to deck out sometimes. o.o

Its still an interesting concept, but has a lot of not-so-needed cards inside with only one copy, which makes it pretty hard to get the cards you want. :o

I'm pretty sure this is 15 wins in 33 games or a 45% win rate.

I know these cards can be handy for some games, but I just couldnt fit them in there without making the deck slower.
I guess placing these cards asks for bigger changes that I havent figured out. May be sum1 can find a way and post here?

sorry, I posted it wrong, 15 wins out of 33 games.

I corrected it already

Nah, they do kill malignant cells for me, which results in a lot of wasted CC. I'm not sure why you're going hostile on me, but I have tried it, and I plenty of experience with rainbows. Not sure why you would assume otherwise, but you seem frustrated over something. I'm not actually defending the deck; I'm explaining why it might work for him. It's clearly not your cuppa, but that doesn't affect mine or his preferences or experiences. Do try to avoid the personal attacks; you have no basis for them and it's only rude and immature.
Really? From my experience the FG won't kill the cells on your side even if it's the only creature there is.

From my experience the FG (AI) will only use MASS CC on cells. But won't use single target CC on them. But it's been a while since I used own cell mutant deck, maybe the AI behavior changed since then. But I think I got some experience with own side cell playing.

Some cell beatdowns, of course with a totally different deck, real game (no trainer), "old style" tower art:

(I did not screenshot, when the cells were mass CC'd, but it happened -fire rain, plague- )
