the addition of butterfly effect REALLY isnt as hard as i thought it would be considdering the shard of patience.
it's pretty simple really. if you have the shard out and you have no creatures that are low enough to get it, eat your phoenix and drop the butterfly on it. or you could just summon a new creature since it's pretty useless to you with a bunch of juggernaughts on the field. you could even use it on an unevolved lycan.

easy other choices to get through monoaether :  SoW, steal, deflag, pulvy, any form of quanta denial, momentum, psion, etc. also, pretty much loss vs monoaether if your key pieces are lightninged / BE is last draw / BE is last few cards but no damage to OTK or TTK or the sort.

as a blatant weakness to permanent heavy decks, particularly stalls: i would mod some of the above into the deck

steal and deflag are virtually useless to me since they're one use only. pulvy uses too much earth and gravity quanta to fit in without taking out my oty (main cc in the deck) and graboid (main offense in the deck). SoW is also pretty pointless since i have no immaterial monsters. psion is a fair choice, but it would be the only monster to do damage and that's not ok with me. momentum has the same issue as the psion. with my mark of entropy (to help fuel the snovas and lycans), i've decided that butterfly effect was my best choice for PC to help take care of my excess entropy quanta.

with that in reference I would do one of the following:

A - remove lycans for more BE, fit more < 3 damage creatures elsewhere (removing the 2 SN for unupped nova could help fuel multiple BE, which is possible due to the amount of QT)
B - remove oty for momentums (2-3 is a lot stronger than you think, or do 1 titan and 1 momentum since QT)
C- eternity instead of precogs to make sure you dont deck out following a BE last turn situation and to stall past 18 dim turns if you can (although i dont see a defense option for MA creatures even as a dimstall)

other notes: adding a steal shouldnt be a problem and would help if you keep just 1 BE, Sancts arent helping here except vs denial (could take one out for a pegasus or upped angel), see SN and nova note above, horned frogs seem to only fill a role of another creature here (what about mitosis or something else that provides more - example: rustler or forest spirit can be used for BE, while spirit can be enhanced by extra water quanta and rustler assuming you drop a sanct could provide life quanta for fueling other life creatures and mitosis options)
