Just wanted to drop a short: Thanks!
Ive been farming FGs with a 60card rainbow deck for years. And eventhough it allways still worked, when i came back to Elements, I just had to try something else at some point.
Started with the slim version and soon switched to the fatty one (only tried the upped versions) and really like it!
Even if my old deck has a slight better win/em-rate, LS has just much(!) faster games! Definitely my choice for farming/grinding FGs for now!

Really I played this for some time and gained (I don't skip fgs) 12/50 winrate. Constantly getting my combo before I can play the light dragon, or getting the defense too late. Way to unstable.

That's why you should skip the recommended FGs, so the games you win you play them earlier. That means faster electrum.

Well close to half the loses aren't due to opponent's PC/rush power. They are often due to getting your own hand cluttered way to early (IE: 7 cards of the combo in hand with 10+ cards left to go isn't uncommon, yet when you lack the light quanta you take a lot of risk drawing for that next shield).

It does take some practice to learn how to use the deck. When your hand is almost cluttered with combo-cards and you do not have the quanta to play them, you simply STOP pulling cards and wait for the quanta to build up. I think your problem is that you are over-pulling with hourglasses.

Well that would be the case if I would be nearing deckout: but most of the times I simply HAVE to draw to get that next shield.

First, I have used this deck in the past with really good results (considering the upgrade count and ease of building the deck etc.) against FG's.

Second, as has been pointed out skip the FG's that are suggested as skips.

Lastly, I am taking you as correctly stating you are not over-drawing with the deck.

This all leads me to the conclusion the poor results are due to a small sample size (50 matches is less than 1 per FG!), starting your shield-chain too early, or being a victim of poor draws (happens to all of us time-to-time).  Remember, if the opposing FG doesn't require starting the chain 'early' (has direct damage spells, small chance of momentum, etc.) then don't start the chain until you HAVE to start it.  This shrinks down how much shield-drawing you have to do and leaves you to draw only when you need pieces of the finishing-combo.

The minimum upgrades are the dragon and the 2 elixirs. Upping the hourglasses is also very useful.
