Thanx for that idea Mrd3ath!
I used your deck as a basis and changed it a bit - I have no idea how well it works unupped but upped it works like a charm. This is what I use:
5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rq 5rq 5rq 5rq 5rq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rm 6rm 6rn 6u6 6u8 71b 71b 71b 77d 77d 77d 77d 7am 7am 7do 7gp 7k2 7n5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7qc 7t9 7t9 80b 80b 80b 80d 80e 80h 80h 80i
Since the deck just worked like that there was no need for me to improve it so far. But I guess there are quite a few possible improvements to be made. Withe the deck as it is I get a 50 - 60% win-ratio, something I never reached with any rainbowdeck since the sundials got nerfed. And it is fun to play.
What could be changed? It is a 60 card deck - and those are said to be less perfect than the slimmer decks. But I think there are enough cards to help you out of different predicaments - so it does not only work well for me but is also more interesting than a 40 card deck could be. If you want to slim it down you should definetly use an eternity since I often come close to decking out (though never really - so I thought there was no need for an eternity - and you need the timemana)
Putting in a graveyard is an option - and quite fun - but I found it not strictly necessary because the druid is just for getting abilities needed at certain points - like steal and destroy, so I use it on one or two scarabs repeatedly - until I get what I need.
More quintessences might be good - they often are crucial.
more armors might be good - they are crucial as well.
The vampire stiletto is not that important and could be exchanged, but it can help.
The Lobotomizer is very usefull - but dealing damage might be as good and destroying permanents as well.
The shards are great with a miracle and help surviving - but I guess if replaced with other strong cards the deck should work as well.
How to play start with a scarab + armour and - if possible - quintessence. Add more scarabs and boost them by eating and with armours and then clone them with a Twin Universe. While doing so - protect yourself with a phase shield/permafrost shield/ shards and sundials. Once you got one or more safe big scarabs - break the enemies advance by eating everything that is not protected. Use Bonewall + Sundials to set up a thorough defense while doing so. The Pharao and fractal suffice to put a Scarab-army on the table.
Miracle and life production are usefull to get back on top after getting a beating in the beginning.
Which FG are hard/easy ? Devine glory is almost unbeatable with this deck. You just cannot eat anything.
Phoenix is mostely too fast - only counter is a fast scarab + armour + quintessence
Seism is hard because you need mana and there is no way to protect the towers.
Rainbow - is always complicated - if you can prevent him from getting too many hourglases - good chance
Most others were manageable - though I did not meet Osiris yet.
So - I'd be interested in ideas and experiences with changes to this deck.
And thanks again Mrd3ath - well balanced deck idea!
