...over two games.  :P

of course the reason i'm showing you this is not because i've found the greatest fg farming deck of all time. in fact i have no idea how well this deck does...

i'm actually just posting it to illustrate a cool little concept. the two wins were against morte and then rainbow.

the reason i won against rainbow was in part due to a first turn quinted otyugh, which this deck is pretty good at getting done, but also because the deck stops rainbow from drawing without having to destroy all those hourglasses. rainbow has 12 spells in its deck that target your creatures. if you don't play a target they start filling up the hand. add on top of that three eagle's eyes that wont be played over the first one and then four more miracles that don't get played until rainbow's low on life. all totaled that's 19 spells that eventually gum up the hand. in the last 4 turns of the game rainbow drew 6 cards including the draw at the beginning of the turn. i also think he might have been discarding miracles as he had the opportunity to miracle, but didn't and only one miracle was cast during the game after 3/4 of the deck had been drawn. that's just speculation though, i might have just been lucky.

anyway, i thought this was novel and wanted to share it with you all. maybe someone can use this deck as inspiration. here are screenshot of the wins:

Looks like a VERY fun deck and very effective to boot. :) Do you ever feel low on Aether quanta?

I'm far from a deck expert, but this looks like a promising deck! (Ignoring DG, of course) I adore Quintessence, and like the idea of antimattering any creature you can't eat with Oty.

Some thoughts:
1. Eternity for deckouts?
2. Graveyard? I like eating/baiting Eagle's Eye/drawing creature control with the skellies to keep bone wall up. I understand it's useless in your strategy to clog Rainbow's hand, though.
3. Protect Artifact for towers against Seism and the odd hourglass?
4. What would you think about using SoG's?

Actually looks pretty good. Maybe replace the octopus with a fire storm and add an eternity.

This looks like it would be one of those decks that could work decently against some FG's, but it would be destroyed by others. Sometimes, very fast rushes are too much for a single Oty. Ferox, Fire Queen, and Chaos Lord (sometimes) come to mind. You would also easily deck out against FG's with Miracle, especially if you get your Lava Destroyers late. Puppychow's suggestion would remedy both of these problems. You could also try to fit in a Permafrost Shield, which would at least use up some the unused Water quantum.

Another suggestion could be to take out the Steals. Some of the current anti-FG rainbow decks work just fine without them.

So, possible changes:

-2 Steals
-1 Octopus
-1 Quint
+1 Permafrost
+1 Pulvy
+1 Rain of Fire
+1 Eternity

Permafrost helps against Elidnis, Divine Glory, Scorpio, and Gemini. Pulvy works wonders against Octane and FG's that use Hourglasses or decent shields. Rain of Fire and Eternity are pretty much self-explanatory.

I tried this deck but ive noticed that this deck is REALLY vurnable to a bad starts since all cards in this deck are keycards.

tried with pulvy and eternity and some other switches but eternity feels kinda pointless since all ur creatures are "expensive" and often immortal :P

Edit: ive tried this deck about 10 games now and ive won about 3/10 games the hard thing about this deck is that u need a really good start to have a win with it. and just grabbing quinessence all the time and no creatures, and antimatter aint that viable against Firefly Queen and morte unfortunate, i didnt like it :( but its a nice concept at least :)

Well I have a Purple Nymph (maybe two if I get the one back that I lost today from Oracle)
I was thinking about testing this deck, maybe modifying it, like a couple of people said, adding an Eternity, and maybe a couple of SoG's in there. I have made an Anti-Matter deck which is Mono Entropy, using the same kind of tactics, but for gods, it is not a case of killing them, it IS a case of decking them out. And so far it has been extremely successful.

Anyway, like PuppyChow said, taking out the Octo and replacing him with Firestorm will be much more beneficial, due to your Otyugh's, if they can't eat a couple of bigger creatures, burn them down to size and then do so ;) Thanks for the deck idea.

I haven't played any FGs yet - just testing this vs. AI5 -- but it seems like using Forest Spectres and Fire Storms in the place of Lava Destroyers and 2 Quintessence is a very effective variant of this deck.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Eternity actually makes no sense in this line up, if you immortal everything what are you going to rewind?

Option 1: Leave 1 guy open (an unneeded Oty, perhaps) and use Eternity on him if you feel that you will deck out.
Option 2: Use Eternity as an offensive card. It works wonders :D

It does work well that way but Add a grave yard or two and it works wonders

I've been playing a variant of this and its held up very good threw 10 games its actually pulled out 8 wins 2 losses against FGs

9 Quantum Towers
6 Super Novas
3 Improved Antimatter
2 Graveyard
2 Bonewall
3 Elite otyugh
2 Lava Destroyers
1 Improved Miracle
3 Electrum Hourglasses
1 Eternity
2 Steal
4 Quintessence

0-1 Divine Glory
1-1 Rainbow
1-0 Eldinis
1-0 Incarnate
1-0 Morte
1-0 Fire Queen
1-0 Scorpio
2-0 Paradox

I like the Idea of Forest spectres and a Fire Storm over the lava destroyers though
