As a newcomer it doesn't seem there is much new to add as far as inspiration goes. But I have been leading the Kongregate PvP list for many weeks now (no idea how to access other ways to validate success) and am top 12 all-time. Not to brag, just add some credibility to my next few comments and give you guys an idea where my passion is.

I understand the advice to go 30 cards max in a build. Especially with Supernova/Immolation based explosive combos/rushes. Something really irked me though... that a single Earthquake or Black Hole could seriously ruin the fun. I wanted some way to turn the mirror match (dis-hole) into a recoverable situation. Also, mono dark going first with a quick Steal + Devourer could end the game simply on that move alone.

I went up to 35 cards to include a few more QT's, and the deck played much smoother. Which led me to the brainstorm of trying to finely balance a 60 card rush deck that would allow for a slightly wider bag of fun tools then a slim 30 does. The 19 QT's now mean that the Quanta-stealing foe better also have a quick follow up to finish the game, or we'll be coming back.

It's lovely anguish now to hmmmm and haaaa over the details. +1 of this and -2 of that. But I am well satisfied with this build vs Rush, Instosis, Poison Dials, Wrecking Ball, Mono Anything, VooDoo Tricks and Stalls.

Moar electrum hourglasses needed for that many cards. How often do you find yourself wondering why you can't find a card? The size is the problem.

Looks like a much fatter version of tha gold league killer, although I'm also getting some rainbow vibes from this. Main problem is, Rainbow has 10 hourglasses in such a huge fat deck, you only have 3. More hourglasses would be nice.

How does this compare to common denial bows like The Shutdown, A Better Way to Fractal, and the like? I imagine that if your goal is full lock down those would do it better. I am intrigued by this deck and will try it out.

Also, how dos the Kong ranking work? And why would people play in a league over there when they could play over here and win nymphs and mad cash?

Well, to the last post... I started on Kongregate and am only now slowly starting to take in the stuff this forum offers. The Kongregate is an automatic tracking system, so it's just a no-brainer to play and every now and then check how you are doing against the other regulars.

As far as the deck tweaking to add more hourglasses... I have to ask without offense if you guys have ever played 60 card aggro decks. The design of the deck is to win with whatever top 15 cards come your way. The 3 hourglasses that are there are just to help should the game run into an extended situation. Generally against control decks, they will supply the hourglasses for you to Steal. Against other aggro decks, diluting cc or quanta control to add more hourglasses seems like a weak strategy.

To be fair, I just went into PvP2 for an hour and and went 7-1. I'm not saying the deck can't be perfected to add a 4th, 5th or 6th hourglass, but I have played and won over 150 games with this deck this week. And if you do the math from my last hour... That's over 20 hours of gameplay this week with only 1 or 2 losses per hour. (My actual PvP wins this week were 180 but I am just trying to generalize the numbers without wildly exaggerating results).

Lastly, as I am new to this forum, I am not immediately familiar with the quanta lock decks mentioned. And yes, if I wanted a pure quanta lock, the deck has to return to a 30 card version. In this version, the discords are actually there to help turn the BH's into more healing vs mono. Although it is fat at 60 cards, this deck still plays very hard hitting and I still consider it a rush deck more than anything.

Step 1. Go to trainer (elementsthegame.com/trainer)
Step 2. Give AI3 a custom deck corresponding to a common PvP2 deck (Ghostmare, Firestall, Grabbow, Immorush, and others) (Note that SN has gotten a nerf, so the AI will net you autowins if you stick many SNs into it)
Step 3. Play 10 games with it.
Step 4. Repeat.
Step 5. Report.

1. If it ain't broke, don't wreck it.
2. Simple fixes for simple problems.

The second part, not everyone enjoys obligations that much. Some people just play for fun and for a short amount of time or for the chat for some others.

Unconventional, but reminds of the good ol' fat rainbow decks. Me like. The results you received sound pretty nice too. I going to give this deck a few tries against various opponents.
