Ok.

I tested this deck and i found it is very very slow at the beginning of the game. The problem mostly comes from the random effect of the quanta production which makes electrum hourglass hard to get early. Even if we have a mindgate, it's hard to get the quanta to play on the same turn a phase shield and the mindgate (or the duality ability).

100% correct. It is no rush deck and it takes time before the quanta production lets you use all its powers and you will loose some matches because of it but it still works. Like I said I modded it, f.e. I took out the SoD and one of the Lobos. If the deck had SoD I could mindgate, ok. But 100 HP EM is enough for me and I hate to go above 50 cards and it got me some shards in plat. Slow yes, not working no.  ;)

Haven't been on here for a while. And I am running a slightly modified version of this deck great success (see below). It definitely takes getting used to, there are different strategies I play for almost every type of deck I face.

I've also recently built an upped poison dial (from the community recommended thread).  I use that deck to farm FG and Gold for cards (much better win rates) but I still use this deck when I'm looking for some  :electrum. Once you get to know it, you can tell within 5 turns whether you will win or not.

Quit instantly against the following (not worth your time, and you will very rarely win):
-Anything with Shard of Wisdom
-Anything with Shard of Freedom
-Most gravity decks (SoF and momentum are brutal)
-Ghost of the Past decks (beatable, but not often enough to make it worth trying)

SoD is optional, but has saved me many times and gives a huge boost to EM. Second purify will get upped someday...but I've never needed it upped yet.

^I'd suggest using phase salvager as rewind fodder. It doesn't mess up mulligan, and there's tons of aether quanta floating around.

Good call, will do. Though it may not help anymore than the ray of light. Sometimes (when your opponent has no CC) the ray of light gets SoD and Miracle ready faster.

Why not an Otyugh for a better chance at pwning SoFo? If nothing else Devouring stuff is fun :3

I really don't think Otyugh would help much until mid game (when you have enough gravity to use it) and SoFo isn't a problem mid game (thanks to the lobos). Though Otyugh is very fun to use, I think it would clutter this deck up too much. (Some would argue it is already too cluttered).

K then... why not a Mirror Shield to counter SoW?

Short answer: Same reason as above, adds too much clutter.

Long answer: SoW and SoFo are only problems because they can kill you early on. Once the mid-late games starts, this deck has so many mind gates that I can out damage practically any deck. And a miracle with 196 hp (after the SoDs) gives me almost 400 hp to play with (not counting purifies and the heal). The only problem with SoW is that it can kill you before you get enough cards to fight it...a Mirror Shield would have to show up within the first few turns or you will be dead.  In a deck with 55-60 cards (depending on how many shields you add and what you get rid of) you would need a good number of shields to guarantee that draw, and all the extras (once you get the one you need up) are wasted draws...especially when you're playing a deck that doesn't use spell damage. Also note that once a mirror shield is in play, the AI stops adding SoW to its creatures...so you will still receive damage from all the new creatures the AI plays.

I'm learning more from your responses than from actually playing the deck! Thanks for these answers! Had no idea that the AI stops adding SoW after Mirror is in play!

Other important AI things to note about this deck:
-Targets Eternity before anything else
-Targets Hourglasses before Dim Shield
-Targets Dim Shield before Lobo or Mindgate
-Targets your largest stack of pillars with earthquakes and quicksand
-Wont play Shard of Sacrifice unless you have a decent amount of attack power on the field
-Wont play creatures (and will burrow any that are played if possible) if you have shard of sacrifice in play (but will still play poison)

Also note with Mirror shield that AI will play Unstable Gas but wont activate it if you have a Mirror shield in play.

That's everything helpful I can think of right now.
