i originally made this as a take-a-break stalling fun deck
you know, something to take out for a spin once a while (after hours of grinding with boring anti-FG/AI3 decks)
and it is certainly not for newbies but i'm glad someone had fun with it

I played this deck 11 times and lost 3 and had to use granite skin early in 3 games to avoid death.  With no defensive shield you are total dependent on SOG or Miracle to offset the computer's damage.  Which means you can get steamrolled early.  Try it if you like, but I personally wouldn't recommend it.

wait... so you get some huge score and electrum boost based on how much HP you have and the fact that you decked out a halfblood/fg and the fact that you have an EM? Each of the 3 counts for some part of the score?

Winning with larger amounts of HP (>100), yes.
Winning with an EM, yes.
Decking out the opponent, no.

I didn't understand why you needed thorn shields unupped or fire shield, so when I decided to take up you challenge to customize the deck to take on FG's, I made this:
Code: [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 592 594 594 594 594 594 594 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rm 6rm 6rm 6rm 6rm 6rm 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6u7 6u7 6u7 6u7 71c 71c 77i 77i 7aj 7ak 7gp 7k0 7k2 7k2 7k2 7k2 7q4It worked beautifully vs. Gemini, alfa'd a recluse early and AM'd the others. Got an EM with 500 (max) life, but in the process began to understand why you wanted a damage shield. Once the field and thus his hand filled up, he only drew one card at a time. YAWN. Well, now I get it. Can't complain about the results though!

Score increase: 190pts
Electrum Gain: 320

I think ill switch out the 2 aflas for 2 more AM, and 2 of the shields for damage shields.

so... is there a ratio for score to the amount of hp>100 of is it simply being over 100?

I've had much better luck with the following deck.  Instead of waiting for the half-blood to deckout, the goal is play a titan and kill him.  Assuming the half-blood has no healing ability, it will take 25 turns to fully kill the half-blood after the titan is played.  Use your hourglasses wisely so that you get all your stone skins and SODs played before you kill him.  Because the final blow is coming from a weapon and not a creature, your SOGs will heal you on the final turn giving you an EM.  As a back up, keep the miracle or one stone skin in your hand to play on your final turn (if a stone skin increases your life above 500, your health will be automatically reduced to the maximum 500).  The eternity and ray of light are there just as a backup in case you play too many cards with the hourglass or the half-blood heals itself.  I've played this deck 12 times and won 10 with 500 health EM.  Also, the half-blood typically has 14-18 cards left in its hand at the time of death, which means it is quite a bit quicker than the OP's deck.  Enjoy!

Edit:  I've added a flying weapon, which allows you to play a second Titan if you need to deal more damage.  If the flying weapon is going to deal the death blow and you need your SOGs to heal for an EM victory, rewind it or use your eternity.  Plague is for taking down creatures with momentum or zero attack (fate egg w/ butterfly effect ect).  I've played this deck 26 times and have won 22 times with 500 health EM.

I've been playing around with a deck similar to the first posted here. The only upgrades I have are about 14 pillars, the shards and the four hourglasses.

I find the deck to do very well if you can get the healing up front. Butterfly effect and pulvy kind of screw you over big time if you can't counter them immediately. The deck can get steamrolled on a crappy deal too. With so many cards you can get a lot of nothing usable in your draw hand and continue to get nothing usable for many draw cards afterward. After playing it a few dozen times I have an idea of what is a good draw hand to go for it on and what I should just quit and start over again with.

I've removed the two extra stone skin because you don't need them to max out anymore and plan on adding some creature control cards. Overall though, it's still fun and quite a rapid change from a speed deck I've been playing for months now.

this is my kind of deck.. something in between the range of..
"I just dumped everything in my hand at turn 2, won at turn 5"
and
"Click everything that will flash. Hit space bar a couple of times while watching tv. Spam stoneskin. ...."

nice big-arse deck...  ^-^ ^-^ ^-^

(As far as i know you can necro-post in decks rather than opening a new thread?)

Just wanted to say im suprised nobody has mentioned in this topic how much this deck can own for you in Platinum?
I think the win rate is only about 35-45%, and needs some modifications like sanctury, but when you win with 500 you win about 1500 electrum, which is really something... i have taken to playing this 2-5 times at the start of a days play, usually netting me 1000-4000 electrum fairly quickly.
Again, hope this doesnt come under necro-posting.

I've tried with something along these lines on AI4 and Gold, but with very little luck so far: I often end up either decking out due to too many unuseful cards (Titan coming out late or destroyed before I have an Animate Weapon) or rushed because of the poor healing.
Do you have any pointer to share?
ps. the unnamed shards are Shards of Divinity and Shards of Gratitude unupgraded.
