Ever since I made Quicksilver (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,12091.0.html), I've been experimenting with a Rainbow of the deck.

The idea is to use your HGs to provide insane draw spam. When you get about 4 out, you are essentially playing 5 turns every turn. This lets you gain quanta incredibly quickly. Use the quanta to spam dragons once you hit breaking point. Shards are just to keep you alive, don't use them if you don't need to.

Shards are just there to keep you alive, it is important that you don't play them too early, losing your valuable  :entropy or  :time in the early game can be crippling. Try to get Snovas out before playing them.

TUs are for the first dragon you can get out. If there are multiple, TU the strongest one. Probably gonna be light, jade, arctic,  or if there's not much CC, Ruby.

Once you draw through the majority of the deck, you should have most of your dragons on the field. At this point, just Chimera and LS for the EM win.

Currently I hover at about 10-11 ttw with what minimal testing I've done, could someone confirm?

Also, I apologize to all the people who have made similar decks, but it is a common concept and I think I tweaked the potential out of it.

Discuss? Also, I may need a better name. And of course, it is very, very fun to play.

Yeah, this is a really nice build. Lets leave AI5...have you tried this against FGs?? In the fun decks archive, there are some similar decks, I've played them and even they kill FGs. With this massive damage, you should be able to defeat them, but still...you would need some luck, bad draws hurt this deck badly ;)

Less badly than you think.

You draw through your ENTIRE deck in ~10 turns. As long as you get 1-2 early hourglasses, you just continue to pick up momentum.

It could probably kill the FGs with less damage, but too much control is annoying. It's also ridiculously easy to get outrushed. I haven't actually tried myself, but a good fast AI5 grinder would probably be appreciated by quite a few people anyways, especially one that can pull EMs out of a hat quite easily.

Very intriguing.

Have you considered adding Sundials (possibly to replace Shards, or just add them without taking out cards)? I've played a few test games, and it seems that the deck needs some early stalling to make sure that not too much damage is sustained before the Hourglasses can start their mass-drawing frenzy. Plus, Sundials replace themselves through Hasten, so it thins out the deck too.

Sky Blitz could also be an interesting replacement for Sky Dragon, as it effectively allows you to deal the final blow faster, and also increase the LS/Chimera combo's chances of EM by increasing the amount of corresponding vampiric healing.

I'm also tinkering with using Entropy Pendulums instead of Time Towers/Pendulums because the Quantum Tower RNG is fickle and refuses to give out :entropy quanta every now and then, which means that Supernovas just sit in your hand and take up space. Using Entropy Pendulums should get rid of that problem, while still generating a fair amount of :time quanta for Hourglasses.
I'm doing science, and I'm still alive.

I would definitely recommend Sky Blitz. Even if Chimeras aren't boosted (which I don't think they are), the giant boost in damage is probably worth it.

Well, in most cases if you want to go for the chimera combo, by the time you wanna sky blitz and win, you've practically won anyways, so I prefer the sky dragon myself. The chimera regularly hits over 100 damage anyways, so it's usually a guaranteed EM when you pull it off. I DO like the idea of sundials though, I will give it a try.

EDIT: I tried sundials, and the shards just work better IMO. It's annoying to make your own heavy hitters not attack, since the deck doesn't exactly aim for an OTK. Looking more closely at SSs though, skyblitz could be a good swap out for the dragon I guess.

Mind if someone helps me test this? It could be the first TTW study against AI5 :D

Posting mostly to follow this thread.

This deck looks very interesting. I am not that intrigued by most Dragon rainbows, but this looks pretty strong. I like it. Would love to see if any further tweaks get made. I'm only on a netbook right now so elements runs pretty slowly for me, at the moment. I plan to make this (or whatever improved version of this gets made) in a couple weeks. Looks good!

Oooh.. another Gigantic Vampire (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,12721.0.html) deck. Not to say that my deck is similar to yours - it is totally different and even better than mine. The reason that this deck reminds me of my deck is due to (1) it can achieve the "unstoppable vampire with huge attack that will result in certain EM"; and (2) this is for AI5; which was the initial goal for that my deck. I love it! ;D

I'll definitely going to try this and will post any thoughts about this deck later.
