Okay, so I tried this deck, and was impressed by its effectiveness in regards to speed. I recorded the stats for 50 AI3 games and produced the following results:
ttw(average): 6.26
ttw(range): 4-15
Losses: 3
I would have proceeded to record more stats, but after 50 games I was able to surmise the extent of this deck's abilities.
Cons:
Luck of the draw- Having spent numerous hours grinding using Ultimate Speed EM, I couldn't help but notice that this deck is much more prone to bad draws than USEM. Unfortunately this allows for unreliability when attempting to account for score gain and electrum per hour as I know several people do.
Quantum denial- This goes along hand-in-hand with luck, but this really seems to cause a problem seeing as how this is built to be a SEM deck. I found that numerous times I was unable to play creatures or heal myself due to me not having ample quantum to do so. In this position I found myself questioning the usefulness of the 3 heals because I honestly did not find myself using them to gain EM often at all. When faced with these types of situations, I perceived this as nothing more than a rush with additional heals to prevent itself from losing, which is not what SEM is about at all.
However, this is not to say that this deck lacks its use.
Pros:
Luck of the draw- Unlike USEM, this deck is also more greatly affected by good luck due to the diversity of cards which may lead to an incredible opening play. I understand Napalm has encountered several 3ttw when playing against t50; this isn't something I would pass up lightly.
Entertainment- Though this deck may not (in my opinion) live up to other SEM decks, it was fun to play due to the same variety of cards as stated above. USEM can become tiring for some players because many times it seems to be the same hands over and over and over and over and over again. But with DEMA, this is rarely a problem.
Speed- An obvious factor, yes, but nevertheless it deserves mentioning. Not many decks can manage to pull off 3 turn wins, so this shouldn't be overlooked. The speed CAN also negate the lack of heals simply by finishing off an opponent before they get a chance to damage you (Vampire Dagger also seems to be an appropriate choice for when the opponent tries to inflict damage at the last second in these cases).
**************
I'm sure this will become yet another popular SEM deck. I personally get more satisfaction out of EMing an opponent with speed which is why I will choose to stick with my trustly USEM for the time being.
Nevertheless, awesome job jmdt
