Deja TU Revisited. https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=2871.msg23352#msg23352

Well, with the release of the new cards, I thought that perhaps I would do some work on my original Deja Vu Rush decks (the first version is here, but the second version was never transfered over from the old forum, I don't think, so I can't reference that one, sorry). This is a combination of my old rush deck mixed with an older deck nicknamed Deja PU.

Though it takes two turns to get the Quantum required for the Supernovas, it takes off very well from there. I'll let these screenies explain:

Comments? Concerns? Frustrations?

Looks really nice, really didn't think that a deja vu deck could be done so nicely! +1 Karma

I was thinking about making a deck with deja vu to use 2 blessing, adren, then quint and dup for 34 immortal damage, I never quite got around to it though, this looks really nice.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

It's here, it just got lost when the duo and trio sections were merged. It's now been restored: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=541.0 (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=541.0)

Oh! Thank you for finding it, Delreich. I wasn't able to find it before, so I assumed it wasn't transfered over. I'll add that link as a reference.

I merged the two topics. That original thread was misplaced with 20+ other trio-deck threads when I did some forum reorganizing.

They have all now been restored. No threads were lost in the transition from the old forums.

EDIT: Although that might have been a mistake because that old one belonged to duo/trio section. Damn.

No worries, I put it back. :) http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=541.0 (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=541.0)

These are clearly two different decks so there's really no point in merging them.

End of spam.

Awesome deck Jellyfish!!!

Tried it and love it!

It sometimes simply doesn't "ignite" but IF this works out,
this has got to be the fastest and most devastating blitz ever!

One "concern" I got though:

How did you get an Elite-Dejavu to have 10/10 in the first screeny? Did he thunderstorm you or ... ?

I'm very glad that you liked it, lol. It does have bad draws from time to time, but it's very fun to play, and when it works, it usually wins.

I most likely had the Elite Deja Vu (which is a 2/2) and then used two Improved Blessings and two Unstoppables on it, to give it a total of +8/+8.

Ah right, stacking unstoppable ... forgot all about that.

One other question would be:

How long does it usually take you until you are reasonably satisfied with the number of buffs you have in you hand?
I mean, looking at it on paper makes you think: "Ok, 8 cards starting hand, then two turns to collect the entropy quants, then two turns during which I flip through another 8-10 cards using those Precox ..."
In reality, even if it does work this fast with the Precog I will often sit there and still only hold like one blessing, the other two being buried somewhere in those remaining 10 cards on the stack.
So I tried it in pvp too and it can get a bit frustrating to take dmg from all those shriekers etc. while you have to wait until turn 10 something to finally deliver the 0-to-100 blast, the better way to go almost always being to just PU those shriekers and get on with it. ;-)
I actually added another blessing to get that punshing power a bit faster but still ...

So, when do you usually play your deja-vus? When you got like one blessing or will you try and wait it out to get at least two most of the time?

How I play the deck depends on what type of deck I'm playing against and what the opponent has in their hand. With the Precognitions, I'm able to decide if I should drop a Deja Vu right away, or wait. I usually try to buff with at least one Blessing and one Unstoppable, so the Deja Vu is a 6/6 with Momentum. If I get more buffs, I'll play them before splitting, and if I can wait long enough, I will so that I can get some bigger creatures or more Twin Universes. The deck requires a bit of strategy to play, and knowledge of the metagame and mechanics of the opponent's deck in general.

If I don't draw what I need, when I need it, then the deck fails miserably. Even more so against mono-fire, mono-dark (or anything with Devourers/Pests), and speed poison. I just made it for fun, and of course, the win rate may not be that great, but it's hilarious to play, and is probably the best form of a Deja Vu deck that I've seen so far.
