What if you got 4 or 5 of them in your hand in the beginning? or just kept drawing them?, thats what happened to me almost every game.
Then you got very unlucky. To quote a meta-game adage from a popular RPG game I play, Fire Emblem, "Personal experience means nothing." If one character statistically ends up, on average, very horrible, but then you turn around and say "Oh no because when I used him he was the best character on my team", that means nothing, since on average the character is really bad even though there are some outliers.

Well then that goes for what you are saying then too, everyone's playing style and luck are different there are no universal tips for everyone, no one is perfect.

Except what I'm saying is backed up by statistics.

To win, you need to draw the cards you need.
To draw the cards you need, you need to draw more than one card per turn if you're using a 50 card deck.
Hourglasses let you draw more than one card per turn.
To draw an hourglass early on in your hand, you need to have 4-6 hourglasses in a 50 card deck.

I can back up that last part with statistics. Statistics aren't personal experience.

However, what you're saying, "Well I usually draw all 3 or 4 in my starting hand and it clogs it up," IS personal experience. It isn't backed up by math.

"Statistics." It's what educated people use to make decisions.

But, um.... okay? I mean, freedom of speech and all...

The sky is purple.

Hourglass has to be 5+ at least on a 50+ card rainbow
Besides, hourglass is a good secondary form of protect artifact

But statistics don't force you do do anything its the fear of losing that makes you use your "statistics" to make that fear go away, using personal experence you already know how you play, how muck luck you have and what YOU need to win.

Statistics of drawing a single hourglass in a 7 card draw for a 50 card deck: 60% with 5 glasses, 51% with 4 glasses.

I would consider going 6 hourglasses too, for a 67% chance.

Of course statistics don't force you to do anything. They point you in the right direction and help you make the right decisions about a deck, since deck building and this game really is just math.

Otherwise, that's just stupid.

Let's say Harvard accepts 10% of applicants. So you *should* know that you need to work really hard to get in. However, your sister got accepted, so based on your personal experience, 100% of the applicants you know got in.

So based on your personal experience, you know that you'll get in to Harvard.

So you apply without really trying that hard and get rejected. You should have looked at the statistics and seen that only 10% get accepted. Your personal experience with your sister getting in means nothing.
