FFQ has never been necessary. Even in v1.14, the queen almost exclusively served as a game accelerator and as a decoy. I never had to rely on the queen to win, because the main engine of the deck is Otyugh/Druid/Yard.
Yup.  FFQ was almost always the card that got discarded if you got a clogged hand.

Looks pretty good Puppychow.  And yeah, it does have that retro feel, lol.  I might take it for a spin and see how it does.

How does this one compare to the old kind of time rainbow that was something like this?
Code: [Select]
5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6u6 717 71b 74b 74b 77f 77i 7am 7am 7do 7n3 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q8 80d 80d 80h 80h

SoGs are better choices for healing, and sundials shouldn't play such a central role in FG decks, imo.

And that's not exactly an "old kind of time bow"; it has quintessence in it. I also think the FFQ isn't needed nor the phase shields.

So far, this deck is doing worse than CCWB, maybe because I still have ten or so cards (seven pillars) unupgraded.

It takes a lot of practice. Keep working at it. Sometimes you'll need to get creative to win.

And those ten more cards will help.

well, "old", as in before the version of elements with fractal. I was told that kind was not good anymore in the forum and went with ROL hope. Tried it later, got a lot of masteries but avoided anyhting with permanent control, DArk MAtter, Seism, Scorpio. Is based on the 7 upgrade one (SG's), That one HAD qunintessence when I saw it. Must come down to masteries vs win rate on how this one and the "old" one are different. Sundails are needed without SOGs, arrrgh.

I've just started using this deck, and I'm kind of liking it, although I'm finding it quite a bit different to decks I normally play.

I think that it could definitely use either a Butterfly Effect or an Animate Weapon though. For a lot of the FG's you need a lot of perm control, and when the Pulvy ends up near the end of the deck and you need to use the Eternity to stop from decking out, you end up having to deal with 5 Feral Bonds or a Perma Shield.

I'll try it out and see how it goes

The mutants you get will also occasionally receive destroy. That will help out tremendously, and the feral bonds wont matter when you eat all your opponents creatures :)

Aye that's true- that's how things worked out when I just played Ferox.
I'd still prefer a little bit more permancy from my permanent control, aha. No worries though- I haven't played with this deck much though, so maybe my thoughts'll change
