This is a work in progress, but I wanted to create a maximally flexible deck that had chance to beat all FGs. The core of the deck is creature control with a Quintessenced Otyugh and direct damage with a Quintessenced Air Nymph. However, once I included Mindgate, the deck became much more flexible when using the FGs' own cards against them and my excess quanta.
I've tried several variations with the one-off cards like Improved Antimatter, Aflatoxin, Fire Storm, and Improved Steal; these cards are the ones that fit my playstyle.
Deck Components:Creature Control- Elite Otyugh, Air Nymphs, Fire Storm, Aflatoxin, Improved Antimatter
Permanent Control- Pulverizer
Shields- Permafrost, Improved Dusk, Mirror Shield, Bone Wall
Healing- Shards of Gratitude, Purify
"Moar Drawz"- Electrum Hourglasses, Mindgates
Things to watch out for:(1) Reflective shields- need to rely on Elite Otyugh or Mindgate'd creatures to do damage
(2) Manage Aether quanta carefully- priority is for Quintessenced Otyugh or Quintessenced Air Nymph (one of each)
I've played about 50 games or so but did not keep any statistics until I get comfortable with a "final" version, but it's been fun to see what Mindgate turns up.
I welcome comments. Thanks for looking.
