I tried the mark of earth... don't look a good choice. The deck seem slower and less-effective.
The only creature will be Lava destroyer, that is too weak in the first 3 turn in play: phoenix is a fundamental supporter.
Also the dragon is too weak and very expensive to play... i prefer 2 phoenix(s) than 1 dragon.
The brimston is 2/1 against photon only 1/1, give back fire quanta instead 1 "useless" pillar and work with cremation. Same idea for minor phoenix, 4/1 and recyclable!
The earth quanta isn't gived only from earth pillar, but also from nova and cremation, meanwhile the earth pillar is played. Seldom I had problems to win without earth quanta.
The vampire stiletto use death quanta gived from nova and cremation (only 1 quanta), deal some damage and give back an intresting amount of life in case of slow start or against other rush deck.
Is not rare these start up in my match:
- red pillar, red pillar (or nova), minor phoenix, cremation, phoenix, vampire stiletto (11damage; 15 in the 2nd turn)
- red pillar (or nova), brimstone, cremation, vampire stiletto, fire buckler (or minor phoenix), lava destroyer (and 2 earth quanta to grow it up)
