This deck lacks any stalling between your opponent places its hitters and you active your creatures.
I think sundials would be better in this deck for initial stalling, and a phase shield for later.
Otherwise you will most likely lose in the damage race.

I've been using this deck all week and rarely is my problem in losing the damage race.  Your stalling cards are your steals, basilisk blood, and congeals.  Don't forget your stealing their quantum so this should be slowing him down and once he puts down a creature you fractal and put down anywhere from 2 - 8 times more damage than him.

I have thought about adding black holes though since rainbows can be a bit problematic and some extra life can really help with those close races.  I've decided to take out the aether pillars though and I've added a plague, rain of fire, and a mirror shield.

This deck could probably beat AI5 if it had a shield or healing.

I take that back. Just steal a shield. If you had reliable destruction (and sometimes RT/Eternity) you could probably beat AI5.

i have found that this deck works great unupgraded if you switch your mark to darkness and switch weapon to druidic staff although you might want to keep entropy weapon...  i dont have one yet so i didnt test the deck with it

I have been playing this unupped in PVP2 (though I did just add a congeal) with Mark of Darkness for the last day and a half and it is absolutely a riot! VERY effective overall as very few people come prepared to tackle their own deck. GREAT fun!!!

Does this have to be fully upped to be functional and if not what needs to be upped for it to be functional cause it looks really fun but don't have everything listed upped.

my version is almost completely unupgraded and it still works great.  just change your mark to darkness and your weapon to druidic staff and your good.
