LOL this is such a good idea! Probably want to switch out a few steals for creature control, as the steals are now 3 quantum apiece, and you don't have much creature control

The steals are primarily for the pillars/towers to play the creature you plan on fractaling.

They're sort of overkill, with the supernovas and towers. The person might not even HAVE the towers, like with a mark duo deck.

Everybody has the towers to play their primary damage sources.

Not necessarily. Some decks rely on marks or creatures or spells, like fractal-hope decks, pillarless decks, that kind of stuff.

I see you have never actually played this deck. If you had, you would understand the importance of Steal. Quantum Towers suck at producing big piles of one type of quanta, which happen to be exactly what Fractal strategy needs.

SG, I'm not saying "OMG REMOVE ALL THE STEALS RIGHT NAO!" I'm just saying that the supernovas should be able to supplement the towers well enough to remove some of the steals.

Is precog necessary in this deck?  Usually it is fairly obvious what type of deck someone is playing, and you can steal their pillars accordingly.

Dawn, it doesn't really matter whether the precogs are in this deck or not. With their cantrip ability, it's basically like they don't take up space in your deck at all...you get to look at the opponents hand, too! Usually, you won't be using the extra time quantum, so it's a good card to have.

I understand they don't take up space, in fact I have been a big proponent of them.  Instead of them, you could have say rewinds.  These combined with the fact that you have stolen their pillars add insult to injury.  Not only are you playing their creatures against them, you are making it difficult for them to play them, especially if they are larger creatures.  Not only that, it considerably slows them down because it denies their next draw.

I don't think that this is the type of deck for that. I think it's a straight-up hitter, not a super-control deck. We want ourselves to be fast, not the enemy to be slow...well at least not too slow.

Well, you are right about the fact that there are a lot of Steals. I was actually quite surprised to see that I used 15 :darkness is a deck like this. That seems too high, at least in theory.

I should probably go with 4 Steal which is more balanced and take an extra Explosion or something.

Fog Shield would be great but that would unfortunately kill the theme of not having any creatures, shields, weapons... wait.. I do have weapon. That's not good.

Back to the drawing board.
