has anyone thought of adding chimera to this deck to stop decks with shields.

I've thought about it as a finishing card. I could see it being used in a lot of rainbow's as a good finisher, especially ones that dont have an oty and thus dont rely on lots of gravity quanta. However it may be hard to find a good spot for it in this deck without sacrificing something more useful, and I'm not sure if it would really benefit this deck that much. It could be used with liquid shadow though to give EM, so in that way could replace heal and/or miracle maybe.

I wouldn't think so, but haven't (and probably won't) tested it...

Not really. With AM's and SoGs, it is very possible for this deck to heal through 40+ counts of poison. Also, pufferfish can freeze now so they still will only hit you ~50 percent of the time. I've beaten scorpio twice already since this patch with no changes to deck. 2 AM'd arctic dragons + 5 SoGs is 51 healing per turn... .

The shard of gratitude nerf will hurt this one.

I think what hurts this deck more is the pufferfish buff. Scorpio was a very easy FG for this build. Now i'm not so sure.

On the bright side, your SoGs getting destroyed = fewer perm control cards for the FG = less chance that your permafrost will get destroyed

Unless it's obliterator with a PA pulv, of course

Eh I thought the FGs target the permafrost over the SOGs? Hourglasses seem better bait anyway... And I guess towers are better bait when you have no permanents.

He's saying that if the FG is using perm control on your SoGs, he wont have as much later when you get your permafrost shield. If he is using it on your SoGs you dont have perm out like you said so yeah. The person he was responding to was saying their SoGs were getting destroyed.

Any1 thought about dune scorpion? Maybe it could replace a destroyer. Many FGs play cards fast, so if its played early, it could be very useful, if you got it in late game you usually have a destro out already. Problem can be the it requires some atk buff, so you have to wait for 3 cards ( scorpi, some atk buff and quint).
