2 questions

Q1 can this work relatively well mostly unupped?

Q2 what is the recommended upgrade path?

When I first made this I could only upgrade about half of the cards. I still had around 13 cards to upgrade so I used it vs. HBs (good, easy, money and also helps you get used to the deck and how to calculate damage to help with EMs if you arent using one of the decks with bond/miracle or heal) I didnt even try FGs until I had all but about 4 or 5 cards upgraded so i dont know how well it would work against them, but it wins almost every time against HBs

like CB! said shards and super novas are important. If you plan to use the queen then that also requires the upgrade. after that I would upgrade 1 permafrost shield and one pulvy. Then about half towers and an hourglass or two. Antimatters and destroyers then the rest.

Ya but it has been agreed that is is a great addition to the deck. especially since it can be blocked by even the unupped sheilds

What's the average income on this deck?

I started using it with about 1/3 of the cards unupgraded (Lava Golems, Fractal, Pulverizers, Quints and Antimatters) and it worked well enough on the FGs for me to upgrade the rest of my deck and have quite a few spare upgraded cards from the spins. Worked really well- really liking the deck.
Using the original, but with a Jade Shield replacing the second Permafrost one- makes Octane a lot easier. Added a Protect Artifact as well, just for the towers with Seism or the FG's with more Perm Control.


Basically just wanted to say thanks for the deck- it's awesome and working really well

It's not but afla is a great great addition to this deck. It allows you to control the board if it gets out early and even if it only takes up 4-6 spots it can mean the difference in beating FG's like Osiris, Decay, FQ, etc. It does great in damage reduction.

The third Laval Destroyer seems like a bad idea. Just because one loses a few games to bad draws doesn't mean one should change one's deck. That third Destroyer will be useless the majority of the time, as you'll be probably be waiting for Fire and Aether quanta to build up, a Fractal, or a Quintessence. Those few times where that extra bit of damage does save you probably isn't worth giving up those games where you would've won if only you'd drawn one more card.

Also, since you're probably Fractaling your Destroyers, the third Destroyer doesn't change your damage output all that much. It's an increase from, say, 8 to 9 Destroyers.

I personally don't use three destroyers but i could see the reasoning behind it in that you can get one out earlier. Typically you really only need one especially if it's out early.

The 3rd destroyer was more of an "I'm getting tired of both of my destroyers being in the last 6 cards" move than anything.  But so far has worked out quite nicely.  So far in my experience, it's been one of those moves that works better in reality than it looks on paper.  I rarely use fractal on a destroyer.  Honestly, what I fractal most often is a malignant cell.  But anyway, like I said earlier, you can toy around with the 3rd destroyer.  So far it's worked a lot better for me.

Could i switch the 2nd pulverizer for an eternity?
(or any other weapon, i have multiple of every weapon except pulverizer)

A vampire dagger might work, this deck doesnt use any  (unless you added LS) Its 6 healing and 6 damage

I would switch it for an Eternity. Vampire Daggers don't have much use. Eternitys can prevent deck-out.

i noticed that a few people like the steam machine instead of LD. but there is a problem with that, you can fractal LD and it can be fueled by the EFFs. steam machine, you have to rely on your towers mainly for it

This is a great deck, using it  - FFQ,2x SOG +2 Aflatoxin +1 Jade Shield.

AI5 is good to get used to the deck before you upgrade most of the cards.

And as stated earlier steam machine uses critical quanta. I couldn't ever see a time where if i didn't have a perma up where i would ever send out my steam machine unless i was assured to have 7 quanta leftover.
