It could. but they're expensive to play, they generally need protection and we don't all have them. The upside is they can repetitively use their ability for more vampires or to lobo all of the opponents most important creatures. Test it yourself to find which you prefer.

At this point, variants don't stick to the No CC theme anymore - I mean, Antimatter is considered more or less CC anyways. However, the basic principle of a quick FG killer with minimal CC is still there.

I think the aflatoxin-mindgate-air nymph variant could have its place for a new post, namely Alchemy/Spell/Nymph variants. Or is there any post out there already?

btw I am currently using the exact variant of the above three cards. Stacking gases are really useful when you try to time the final EM blow. Mindgate is fun in the mid-game. Might try an Improved Heal when I can upgrade one, but I am already running a 37 card deck....


Do you guys all running 7 towers? I am running 8, and I think it is barely enough. It is very frustrated if you always can't get that key quanta when the Supernovas are at bottom...

I posted a variant with Aflatoxin, 3 Quints instead of the Fractal, a Purple Nymph, Improved Heal, and I am planning on putting an Air Nymph in there.

Auto-mulligan usually allows for 1-2 towers to pop up, and I don't think 8 towers will really help an SN-less hand.

Can you use UG on yourself with jade shield on to bypass Fg's reflecting  shield? Because I think UG will be where most of the damage will come from in such a small deck.
