For EMs and healing when you're half dead. I don't like it there though, esp since that deck doesn't have miracle.
I don't use Miracle in my deck. 90+% of the time Heal alone is sufficient for EMs because once your defenses are set up, you should be taking less than 20 damage per turn. If you're taking more than 20 damage per turn, you're probably dead anyways.

I like Miracle because:

A) it uses the unused Light quanta, B) it's versatile - I've had it save my ass a few times, and I've had it help me achieve EM's many times.

I still prefer chimera + liquid shadow rather than miracle + heal personally :P. Its great for getting a powerful finishing blow, it helps you get by miracles (the ai wont calculate you ignoring his 1-2 damage shield on your last turn so easier to time it), and it almost guarantees am since by the end you should easily have enough creatures to make a 60+ damage chimera. It also lets you use LS as an emergency lobo if necessary in a situation like if DM gets an early grav nymph or dream catcher gets an early butterfly effect.

Edit: Its also great against incarnate/morte if they get a bone wall on the turn you could otherwise kill them, especially with morte due to him also having miracle.

But the chimera won't help as much as the heal or miracle... It just looks 10x awesomer.

Meh, I don't like Chimera clogging up my hand for the entire game (wheras Heal and Miracle can be used as last resorts for healing if necessary). Also, I DO use Liquid Shadow, both as a Lobo and as an extra damage source on those big antimattered creatures. (especially against Miracle-abusing FG's and Bone Wall-abusing FG's)

I used LS before too, so I was just looking for a way to increase EM rate. I guess I just prefer having the utility to bypass shields while also almost guaranteeing em, rather than the extra healing potentially earlier :P.

Edit: I also still use fractal which has kind of gone out of style, but with it chimera is extra useful because you often fractal lower damage creatures which get lowered a lot by dmg reduction shields, so again helps a lot with getting by miracle and/or finishing game quicker.

Mindgate could grab you a few permanents. It's probably also a target for protect artefact itself, as you don't want it blown up, or worse stolen by Rainbow.

This is exactly what i thinked, 3 PA probably is needed to beat some hard FG, 1 to protect pulv, 1 for MG to take some perma and not finish my deck, plus 1 PA free situational for the FG opponent. Isn't a good idea?

PS: sorry for the bad english  :(
