this is just my theory on why nobody brought it up before...
there are 2 kinds of creature control, the hard kind and the soft kind
the hard kind are those that have one goal, to get rid of one or more creatures
i.e. Rain of Fire, Plague, Fire Bolt, Owl's Eye
the soft kind on the other hand, are those that dont explicitly get rid of creatures but also serve another purpose
i.e. Rewind - return the target on top of the deck, reset growth creature, ignore a draw
antimatter is the soft kind, you dont get rid of the creature altogether but you merely invert the damage into healing
you can even argue that aflatoxin is a soft CC because the main purpose is to lock your opponent's board so that they cant play anymore creatures until they get rid of the malignant cells
