I've added a 3rd (yeah, I know) lava destroyer and haven't had a deckout problem so far.  It's still possible to deckout on some false gods if your quints are at the bottom.  And a single heal can easily take the place of bond+miracle, in my opinion.  Anyway, here's my current version...

Code: [Select]
6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u7 6u7 71c 77f 77f 7ai 7ak 7dq 7dq 7dq 7gp 7gp 7q5 7q5 80h 80h 80i
I actually quite like this version a bit better. Although i do have one change that well... like Sven just pointed out is quite a no no. Instead of the 3rd lava destroyer i added a bloodsucker. An early one of these is really quite helpful in clearing up your board of some of the nasties.

heh i argued about replacing the queen with a CC and bloodsucker was one of them that was tested
but i decided on aflatoxin instead because it is much more useful than a bloodsucker in any situation

This is my variant.
Code: [Select]

Is anybody else having absolutely horrible experiences with this deck? :x I've been trying this deck for a little while now and my record so far is 9-91. I'm sure that I'm playing this deck right, but I have yet to beat even the easiest of gods. The only times I've won are when I got lucky and the god had a low amount of towers or had no creatures to play.
Something doesn't sound right, there... What variant are you playing?  I've hit bad streaks, but nothing like that...
I'm playing the original build. I'm about to try your version, though.
I never really played the original version.  Almost immediately I added a Protect Artifact, and with more testing and other's input, it's evolved from there.

Isnt Aflatoxin CC?
LOL. I was gonna say that... and to an extent, antimatter is as well...

Is the Jade shield carried in addition to 2xpermafrost, or is it preferable to carry 1xJade, 1xPerma?
I'm finding that it works extremely well with 2 permafrost and 1 jade.
Yeah, I run it with 2 permafrost and 1 jade.  Most of the time (unless the false god gets a horrible draw) you need a shield in the top half of your deck or your dead anyway.  What sux is when your shields and your hourglasses and your destroyers/quints are in the bottom half of your deck...  But at least then it's a quick match...

Has anyone tried putting Liquid Shadow into this deck? For all the growth gods, I'd rather the creature just die (and do some damage) then just grow out of its anti-mattered-ness. You could use it on your Lava Golem in a pinch against gods with no creature control, or use it to EM. Anyone tried it?
I'd rather not give him any heals, besides, it wouldnt optimize the deck for more gods.
I actually think this could maybe work. Its not to give them heals. The idea is to use it on the creature you anti matter, so it heals you and hurts the FG as long as it lives. So say you're playing hermes and he has a 20 attack lava destroyer, you can use antimatter and LS on it and it will heal you and hurt him for quite a few turns. Could be very useful, I might have to try that out. No real use for darkness in this deck too so would be easy on quanta.

Edit: Also it wouldnt be a dead card against other gods, bc you could do the same thing on their dragons, but you'd just have to make sure to use it at a time where it dieing wont cause you to lose from not getting the healing. Using it on a 15/15 light dragon against miracle would pretty much pwn him though :P. And also could provide pinch healing if you use it on your own grown destroyer against no cc gods.

i cant think of one good situation for when having LS would help
using it on your own creature means you have an unprotected high atk golem which means facing FGs with minimal or no CC and how often do you need life gains against those FGs in addition to your SoGs and AMs?
using it on the FG's creature...like the example above, 20 atk golem? seriously? you'll be long dead before Hermes get a 20 atk golem or maybe thats just unlucky me
other growth creatures...Elidnis/Rainbow...a lone LS wont do anything against them
and then the question of what you'd take out for it? or maybe just add it in without taking out anything? thats just wrong. 35-cards is a huge pile already for 7 QTs and 6 supernova

honestly imo this idea is about as good as putting bonds in this deck

I havent tested it so I dont know for sure, but I do know its common at least in my experience for hermes to get huge golems due to heavy armor/rage elixirs. It also stops them from reducing the healing by continuing to grow. Also, it would be very useful against almost any dragon, which is another positive. The best candidates would probably be earth dragons from seism or obliterator, light dragons against miracle, super buffed rols/deja vu's against paradox, and massive dragons against gemini. I dont know if it'll be worth it, but its an interesting idea nonetheless.

I agree that afla is more useful then a bloodsucker. BUT is the bloodsucker more useful then the 3rd destroyer? I find it is.

Lol just got a screenshot which showed the usefulness of liquid shadow... notice that it was taken on Seism's turn, and he would have killed me that turn, but the liquid shadow on his AM'd dragon killed him :D.
